UV Lights and Indoor Air Quality Products for your heating and air conditioning system!

Every month at HL Bowman plumbing heating and air conditioning, we receive calls from concerned customers regarding indoor air quality.  According to the EPA,  indoor air quality is often 5x worse than outdoor.  One common concern is “Does mold grow in my coil?”   The answer is yes and one great way to counter act this problem is by having a UV light installed. UV lights kill the mold and reduce the need for system maintenance.  UV lights improve indoor air quality by sterilizing mold, bacteria, viruses and allergens from the air as it cycles through the air conditioning system.  UV lights have the ability to control odor in your home.  As a home owner you will be able to see the UV light working when you change your filter.  The filter will be noticeably cleaner.
