Best In Class Service, truly. We could not be happier with the team that came out to replace our Air Conditioning units. As an Architect, I care deeply about detail and craftsmanship and the team at HL Bowman is exceptional throughout the process. George, the Sales lead is great to work with and gave us so much confidence from the start. Jonathan, the team lead for install, was extremely thorough, and deeply knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to improve a series of subpar conditions that were here before their arrival, along with an outstanding install and we are very pleased with the finished product. I cannot say enough about the quality of this team and every aspect of the process, including communication, care of our home, and quality of workmanship. This level of service and care is nearly impossible to find, especially in the Boston market and we will continue to recommend this team to anyone looking for quality service. We had a great experience today with Estefano! He was highly professional and friendly. Him and his partner, Benjamin worked throughout the day and I was able to stay home with children and had no disruptions to our typical routine. It rained today and even though they had to transition from outside to in everything remained clean. I highly recommend his services!

Your Tech Brandon was perfect. Did exactly what needed to be done to make my Wife Happy. Found out we needed a pressure valve too. We have him coming back Monday. Strongly recommend that you become a MVP Member with them for the additional benefits far out way the Fair cost to join. 5 stars and wish I could give them more than 5 stars they are worth it.

This company follows through and make sure the customer is well taken care of and it’s beautiful to be able to get a real person to speak to after a few phone prompts.They’ve really proven themselves and go above and beyond and the company is approachable and fair if you have any issues.Yesterday’s repair was done by Justin Dooley and he was very patient with me as I asked many questions and he was trying to get his job done in a very hot attic.He stayed and made sure everything was in tiptop shape and was very respectful of our property.They deserve a much higher rating now than the one I originally gave based on my own misunderstanding.Communication is everything and they are open to it in a very respectful manner and always reach out to make sure the customer satisfied.A real breath of fresh air!

I originally called these guys over a weekend because our entire AC system died and it was in the mid 90s outside. They came out that day, diagnosed our problem immediately, emailed us pictures of the problems, and did not even charge for that trip. We purchased a new system from them and they installed it within 2 days. It works great.THEN, our water heater failed (it was old and struggling for years). Once again I called them and they came out right away and got a new system up and running.Their prices are not the lowest in town, but they're definitely worth it. With them, we know that things will get fixed properly and quickly the first time around. Every worker was professional, trustworthy, and knew what they were doing. The company even texts you beforehand with a photo and name of anyone coming out and has them call when they're on their way. We are now repeat satisfied customers and plan to continue to use HL Bowman. I rarely leave reviews lately unless a company is either really bad or really good - and this company is really, really good.

Our central air failed July 3rd. I texted for emergency assistance at 9:30 PM, received a return call 10PM. Service technician arrived Sunday July 5th to assess the issue. An appointment was made for Monday July 6th. On Wednesday July 8th, our A/C and Furnace were replaced.We were told technicians would arrive at 7:30 and it would require 8hrs. As promised, 3 techs arrived at 7:30, 1 focused on exterior unit, 2 on interior furnace. Job completed by 3PM.Excellent service, knowledgeable technicians, clean installation.Highly recommend.

Brian, Greg, Micheal and others involved in my home repairs in Lebanon, PA. we're kind, polite, professional and understanding. I found it outstanding that text messages were attached to photos of the professionals doing the work before their arrival so we knew whom to expect before hand. Time and care went into every part of the jobs performed. This company has to be the best company I have ever had the opportunity to deal with. 5 stars all the way around! HL Bowman came out to look at my very old central AC unit. The tech mentioned that the refrigerant was banned and I should have a new system installed. I asked that a sales person come to my home to give me proposals. Airton Andrade came out and assessed my needs and showed me my options. I chose to have a 24,000 BTU Mini Split installed instead of the central air being replaced. The Mini Split would provide an additional heat source in the winter and provide AC in the warm months.Marcelo Barros was part of the team of men that came out to install the Mini. Marcelo was timely, professional, and did a great job!! Marcelo was one of the unit installers. He and Kyle did a great job installing the unit, it looks great inside and outside and cleaned up everything when they were finished. It's only been 24 hours and I love it so much!!Thank you Marcelo and the rest of the team.

Today makes the third time I have had HL Bowman do an install. June of 2025 was a water heater replacement, August 2025 full HVAC replacement and today had a water softener put in. I have had zero issues with installs and services. Yes can be pricey but I’m a firm believer you get what you pay for! Today Mike Roger’s installed my water softener and left my house just as clean as if it was his own! Throughly explained everything and answered all questions! After he was done we walked the house together and made sure all faucets, toilets etc were properly working and again triple checked for leaks and all was well! Overall my experience has been 10/10 and only complaint if I had one is price but it is 2026 and if you want high quality gotta pay for it! Thanks again HL Bowman team!

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service I received from Mike Farley at H L Bowman company.I had a very well-hidden water leak that could have easily led to much more extensive damage and expense. Mike took the time to carefully investigate the problem, identify the true source of the leak, and resolve it efficiently. By finding the core issue, he saved me a significant amount of money and a great deal of worry.I was also very impressed with the company's dispatchers. They were professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the process.I should probably mention that I'm not always the easiest customer to deal with—especially when I'm stressed about a serious leak in my home. Even so, Mike remained patient, polite, understanding, and professional from start to finish. He took the time to explain things clearly and made a stressful situation much easier to handle.Outstanding service is rare, and Mike truly delivered it. I'm having an account restriction because I paid for a service call $70.00. Then being told what the problem is, then being told it would be cheaper if I got the part and installed it!! Company seems pretty pathetic that some people are mechanically inclined to be able to install parts. But no they want to triple the price for labor. Pretty sad management can't call and explain what the account restriction was for. No balls!!! Have a good day! I'll make sure not to recommend you to anyone else. Like the $10,000 job you all did for my brother!!!

Technician came to replace motor and blue light. Said he fixed both, next day found out he did not fix either problem. Impossible to get answers from this company. I keep getting the run around, passing the buck. Highly disappointed. Not the 5 star service they advertised.

Adam was very thorough in his explanation of options and was able to stabilize the situation until a longer-term solution was identified. We have a large multi-level 1896 house that previous owners installed central air into on first and second floors. But it never worked great. The air conditioner broke in the middle of the most recent heat wave and HL Bowman came to my rescue with fast response times, great service, knowledgeable employees and a great outcome. Goran in sales earned my trust with his friendly and respectful demeanor and patient and helpful explanations of what was wrong with my system. It was a total fail of the system—years past its stated life, deteriorated by our failure to replace the air filters. He answered all my questions, sometimes twice (and even put me on the phone with the sales manager Mike, who was great, to help answer a question about our other air conditioner in a different part of the house). Goran also pointed out several problems with the way the old system was installed that would be repaired with the new install. And they could do it the next day—July 3rd and they had 0% financing for 18 months. I was sold. I had already carefully read the online reviews ahead of time and was confident I was in good hands and I was right. Even when a difficult install at another location that had not been completed yet meant the install team who had volunteered to work on the July 3rd holiday for mine wouldn’t be available and we’d have to wait until Monday—-I got call after call from the install manager until they reached me to make sure I knew, with profuse apologies. Our install team arrived on time with three HLBowman trucks, introduced themselves and shook my hand (which repairmen don’t always do with a woman customer and I appreciate it). Cody. Alec and Alex got to work right away, explaining they would be there until about 3. When I had a question about the brand of equipment they were installing I called Goran who had given me his cell phone number the week before and got a call back right away (even though he was sick) By the end of the day we had a working air conditioner, cooling the multi-level house much better than the old system. They finished around 4:30 and Alec did a great job walking me through the new system, answering all my questions, explaining new safety features. And he also walked with me through the whole house testing all the vents to make sure each one worked. One did not and he said he’d have the company call me to send out another team to investigate and address that issue. At this point I truly trust the great work of the whole HL Bowman team and am confident that I will hear from them today to address the one vent problem and so I am writing the review now. I am glad to have selected this company and would recommend it to anyone.

We hired HL Bowman to reconnect our gas stove and refrigerator water line after a kitchen renovation. When I scheduled the appointment, I explained that another licensed plumber had already disconnected both appliances and installed a new gas shutoff valve. At that time, I was told only about the $70 service call fee.When the technician arrived, he spent about 15 minutes on the phone with his manager before telling us the total cost would be nearly $600 ($70 service call, $360 to reconnect the gas stove, and $170 to reconnect the refrigerator water line). At that point, we felt we had little practical choice but to proceed because we had already been without our stove and refrigerator and would have had to wait several more days to find another plumber.For comparison, the licensed plumber who disconnected both appliances and installed the new gas shutoff valve charged us $300 for that more involved work. He was unfortunately not available to reconnect it, which is why we called HL Bowman. That made the $600 charge for simply reconnecting the existing stove and refrigerator especially surprising.I want to be clear that the technician was professional, courteous, and completed the work properly. My concern is not with him, but with HL Bowman's pricing and disclosure practices.After the visit, I contacted customer service and asked them to review the invoice and consider a partial refund. Instead of addressing my concern, the only solution offered was a membership for future services, which I declined.I understand that companies can use flat-rate pricing. However, I believe customers should be told the full price before a technician is dispatched when the scope of the work has already been clearly explained. Had we known the total cost in advance, we could have made an informed decision before scheduling the appointment.

When my 26-year-old geothermal heat pump malfunctioned, I entrusted HL Bowman with its replacement at the end of June. Their communication was exceptional, keeping me informed throughout the process. On the first day, I engaged in discussions and planning with several representatives. On the installation day, an employee promptly delivered the heat pump and all necessary supplies in a straight truck before the two technicians arrived at 7:30 AM. This level of efficiency was truly impressive.The two technicians, Ian Devore and David Joswick, were courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and meticulous. As I observed their work, I was struck by their commitment to efficiency while ensuring minimal disruption. Ian and, to some extent, David were more than willing to answer any questions I had, providing thorough and comprehensive explanations. Ian even guided me through the setup of the heat pump and the new thermostat, including configuring the app on my phone.With these two employees as representative for HL Bowman I highly recommend using this firm.

I would highly recommend H.L. Bowman for any Heating/AC repairs. Our system stopped working on a Sunday and Bowman had a tech (Austin) come by the house to diagnose the problem. Upon his finding we decided to replace the 15 year old system with a new system. (The old system used discontinued refrigerant) That same day Matt stopped by the house to discuss options about replacement and financing, and by the next morning Glen Keiper and his son were on the schedule to come and replace the system. Glen and Shayne were very professional and did a phenomenal job installing the new system and thermostat. They went above and beyond the call of duty, going as far as noticing a very small propane leak coming from my tank and calling me at work to let me know. We couldn't be happier with the service we received from HL Bowman and will certainly give them every opportunity to do any work in the future.Scott.

If I could give no stars I would. This company has failed to hold their end of the deal for what we wanted and paid for. We had paid around 13k out front because we had it and we wanted a cooler house in the summer with a newer and quieter furnace. The furnace the installed is just as loud as the previous one we had and during hot days, it never reaches the temperature we set it for. It constantly runs. We then found out the that the duct work was not hooked to the unit, so my husband aluminum taped it until they could come to attach it correctly. When they came they said the tape will not work and that they would have additional charges to attach it. And then, they took off the tape he had, and then applied the same tape they stated would not work. And this was going to be a $300 charge. They also stated they were going to put in installation board with mastic tape but applied the tape instead. We let it know that we're very unhappy with our unit and the services that were poorly done and they ended up not charging us but we are still living in a very warm house and most likely will have to put the window units back in to stay cool. The whole thing felt like a scam and they did nothing but lie the whole way through their so-called services. I do not recommend this company even to my worst enemy. We paid $13k to just sit in a sauna.The main service was to getting central air into our home.

They never came back to finish the job at our house. The original tech did not do a good job so a manager had to come out to fix.we asked for a price to replace an outside faucet which was missed on their 1st visit they quoted us $1000 for an existing faucet replacement. I had H.L. Bowman replace my heating and cooling system in January after a cracked unit. The total cost was approximately $23,000, which I knew was on the higher end for a Goodman system.Unfortunately, I’ve already had to call for service twice within the first five months because the system stopped working. To their credit, they responded quickly each time and their service technicians were prompt.One disappointment was that they installed basic thermostats even though I had requested Wi-Fi-enabled thermostats. I also wasn’t eligible for any rebates with the equipment that was installed.For comparison, my previous Trane system lasted 16 years and only required one repair near the end of its life. The second zone of that original system is still running well.While I appreciate their responsive service department, based on my experience with the installation, equipment, and early reliability issues, I would not choose H.L. Bowman again for a new HVAC system

We had two issues that Eric (Lasalle) was able to fix and complete. In attempting a DYI bathroom faucet replacement, we discovered that the old faucet had been bolted down and when attempting to turn off the water the shut off values were old and leaking. Eric was prompt in arriving during the scheduled time and was able to remove and replace the faucet. Likewise he was able to replace the old shutoff values with new ones. Eric was very courteous and performed great work in a timely fashion. My wife and I are very happy with his work and would look to HL Bowman for future plumbing needs.

HLBowman just replaced the second of our two HVAC systems . Each of the systems were more than 22 years old. We have also had them replace an exterior sewer line. Each project that their teams has worked on were big ticket items that needed to be repaired on our nearly 100 year old home. Their courteousness begins when I call about the issue at hand , in this case it was our air conditioning. I made the call and our appointment was scheduled for the next day. The tech was very courteous as well and thoroughly checked everything before telling us we needed a full replacement which we were not surprised about at all but he still explained clearly what our options were for the project. We decided to go for the replacement and we set I the appointment for the job for the NEXT DAY in the early morning since it was cooler. One of their workers came before 7:00 am and dropped the unit off outside. Three other workers came by 7:30 am . Each of them introduced themselves to my husband and I, said good morning, and asked if we had any questions. All were courteous and polite. They started working immediately and had the entire system installed and checked in our upstairs attic by lunch. They made sure they cleaned up and removed all trash and debris.This is how EVERY encounter we have had with HL Bowman has gone! We appreciate your services tremendously. Of course the jobs we have had completed have been expensive, but their prices have always been reasonable ( even if we have to gulp when they give us the cost😳) . The kinds of jobs we have had completed are big jobs, but I never have felt they were overpriced. Many times their prices come in less than other contractors we contacted. We will be calling HLBowman for any future jobs for sure!

They quoted me a modulating furnace but installed a 2 stage furnace. I’ve been trying to get it sorted out for almost a month but I keep getting told to “call this person” or “wait for this other person to call you back”. I never post bad or negative comments but HL Bowman left me no choice. I requested several times for them to complete the job that I originally hired them for. They quoted me $18k to replace my copper pipes and fix the liner in the basement which isn’t even why I called in the first place. I wanted them to fix the leak that they originally fixed in April 2025z I began leaking again in Feb 2026. I paid 3,000k which they cashed and took out a finance loan for the rest with them. HL Bowman Steve Dominic said they would fix it and they have not said they need to tear out my cabinets. Only people calling is the SFC to see if it’s completed. I said “no” and HL Bowman says that they completed the work that they were hired to do. That is completely false. I’ve never been so unhappy with a company.

BUYER BEWARE. High pressure sales tactics. ESPECIALLY NATE. The more he can get you to pay the more he puts in his pocket. Make sure you get at least 3 different companies estimates. Don't cave like I did because I was stressed and overwhelmed about not having a working sewer system. This lesson costs me over $3,500 that I do not have.

AC unit was installed 5/29 and is now running great. Updating my original review because the company's response to a rough start, and their follow-through afterward, deserves real credit.To be transparent about what happened: the initial install had a few hiccups, including a filter box that wasn't secured properly, ductwork that wasn't fully connected, and an airflow vent issue that caused the pan to fill and the system to shut off temporarily. It took several follow-up visits to get everything fully sorted, and the early scheduling response left something to be desired given the safety concern.What changed my overall impression: the installation manager came out fast and fixed problems the moment they were flagged, my salesperson Matt P. stepped in personally to expedite service when I hit a wall with scheduling, and the service tech who handled the pan/airflow issue resolved it quickly and explained what went wrong. Corporate also reached out directly, extended my MVP service plan by an extra year as a make-good, and gave me personal assurance that any future issues will be handled promptly.Bottom line: the installation execution was not ideal, but the people who showed up to fix it, and corporate's willingness to make it right, earned back a good amount of my confidence. Hoping it's smooth sailing from here.

I contacted HL Bowman as a referral from Home Depot for air conditioning in a home I am moving into. I received a date for a consultation within a week. Matthew Parlotto arrived on time and discussed his thoughts of going with a Ductless Hyper-Heat system. I was so impressed with what he said about the HL Bowman Company, I agreed to his price and within two hours we had made the deal and signed off to everything. I never thought it would be this easy. Matt also planned the installation within a week and told us what to expect and that he would personally stop in that day to make sure everything is done.Josh Perez came the day that was planned to begin the project, was on time and very informative. JUNE 2026: Nate performed an inspection of our HVAC system, Troy followed up with a duct cleaning, and Alan finished with an installation of an upgraded filtration system. All three were friendly and professional. Everything that needed to be done was explained clearly; prices for various steps were explained in detail before I made any decisions. All my questions were answered fully. Another good experience!APRIL 2026: Bill arrived and was friendly, professional, and courteous. I warned him of our pets, so he was careful with all the doors. I showed him where everything was located and he got right to it. Job was completed quickly, quietly, and a minimum of mess. He walked me through everything he did and answered my questions. The specialist, Jeff Negron showed up early and I didn't have to wait home all day. Jeff was very personable and knowledgeable. When he came a couple of weeks ago to do the annual maintenance he noticed the blower assembly was dirty and needed cleaning. He gave me answers to my questions very thoroughly. Showed me how to keep the the condensate trap clean and explained the reason it's on the furnace. He wanted to make sure I know how the system works. Reminded me to keep checking the filters. Over-all the visit was well worth it.

A great experience all around. We needed our garbage disposal replaced, so we reached out on a Saturday using their website. Got a text from Samantha soon after to confirm our appointment for a couple days later (Monday). On Monday, Sean shows up, looks over the situation, gets his tools, and is done shortly after. The whole thing took less than 1 hour! And everything looks and works great! They even hauled away the old garbage disposal for free! We will definitely be using them again if we have any other plumbing needs!

I contacted Home Depot for an evaluation, and their HVAC Advisor, Amauris, provided an outstanding consultation. He thoroughly inspected both the indoor and outdoor units, transparently explaining potential issues. When a technical question fell outside his immediate scope, he prioritize accuracy over guesswork and called Brad, the HVAC Manager at HL Bowman (Home Depot's installation partner). Brad clearly explained our ductwork limitations in simple, straightforward terms without trying to upsell unnecessary work. Amauris walked us through the entire contract with complete transparency, even placing his internal calls on speakerphone. To address our specific contract questions, he looped in Nord, the Retail Compliance Manager at HL Bowman, who professionally explained our payment options, warranties, and product details. Knowing our house was at 90° with no AC, Amauris went above and beyond—staying from 4:45 PM to 7:30 PM to finalize our paperwork and successfully expediting our installation for the very next day. The installation specialists, Greg and Chase, were phenomenal. Over a two-day, 17-hour installation process, they worked tirelessly and stayed late to hit their milestones. They were incredibly respectful, highly knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions professionally. After completing the install, they rigorously tested the system, recorded the metrics, and re-verified the contract details with us.The transparency, respect, and expertise demonstrated by Amauris, Brad, Nord, Greg, and Chase were unmatched. Contacted HL Bowman for central air service when the air was no longer blowing cold. We were in a pinch as we had a family party approaching with the recent heat wave. Representative answered right away and set up an appointment. We were later offered a next day visit which we accepted.Tim W. from HL Bowman arrived the next day. Very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Tim was able to diagnose the issue with the unit and replaced the part all within 45 minutes. By the time he came back in the house, the air was already blowing ice cold.Pricing was up front and fair, service was quick and easy, and the technician walked me through what was wrong and how the repair would work. Would absolutely recommend HL Bowman to anyone looking for central air service in and around the South Shore.

Install seemed to go well. However i was told it would be a one day install. It took 2. It should have taken 3. The techs who finished on day 2 were good, however, I had to leave. They were not done and wouldnt be coming back. I couldnt be there for programming and they did not lable the breakers where thy installed the units.Again, they were good they just needed more time identifing where the old units were installed in the panel. I had Josh Perez,Alex, Shedloclock install a new fernus and ac unit in my home in milford",ct in inhumane conditions of heat these guys from the moment they came in they put the droop clothes down and even went to the extreme of putting on shoe covers. They didn't leave until I was happy with the cool air that I received when they could have said our job is done have a great day. I offered them tips in cash and they wouldn't even take it. That being said they should get a bounce on that alone. I have my own business and can't find the quality of performance nor honor that these guys have. HLBowman was called out to do a routine AC check up on May 18. The service tech let me know that there was mold in my ducts by cutting into my system and sent me pictures. He never closed the hole. This caused my system to run harder than necessary. A different part of the AC system failed. The best service person they have was sent out to fix the system. He repaired the broken part and then when the air flow wasn’t right we discovered the hole.Ask for Adam if you are planning on using HLBowman.Updated review as of June 12 from one star to four. The company leadership reached out and redressed the issue. I would use Adam and HLBOWMAN for all my geothermal HVAC needs.

We do not recommend this company. They came to our house to assess our main sewer line. They quickly had a salesman out to inform us the main sewer line needed replaced immediately and that they could do it by Monday. We were obviously concerned and felt comfortable with the service so we moved forward and signed a contract. Their salesman is really good and instilled confidence in them that we shouldn’t have given. In the estimate they told us it would take 3 days and heavy excavation to do the repair. On the day of, it wasn’t HL bowman doing the work, but their sub-contractor “drain magic”. One plumber with two assistants were able to get the job done in a day, with no excavation, but we didn’t get any money back. We paid thousands for the “haul in of heavy equipment” which was never there. We paid for an excavator, which was never there. Overall we were scammed. When we asked for an itemized receipt of charges and pointed out these frauds they sent us a few hundred back, agreeing it was wrong, but never got a full refund of fake charges. We felt duped and scammed by HL Bowman. They also left mud all over our walls , floor, and furniture, plus damaged walls by pulling down paint after installing “zip walls”. They did not clean up after themselves, and the stone work they backfilled with was incorrect, leading us to pay more to the concrete company to fix their poor job. Take this as your warning and avoid this company at all costs!

***Update as of 06.11.26***As of today Bryan at HL Bowman made this situation right for my mother. HL Bowman refunded the cost of the Acid Reducer today, they also came to remove it today as well.Bryan was nice to work with to resolve this issue and as promised, I revised the 1 star to a 3. Had this not occurred at all it would have been a 5.________________________________________________________________My mother who is in her late 70's had an issue with her water pressure yesterday. She had a company come out that was not HL Bowman to assess the issue. While the tech was onsite he asked about the Acid Reducer System that was in her bathroom. She stated that Bowman installed that back in November 2024 when they re-piped the home. While the re-pipe work was done well the Acid Reducer was NOT needed for her. It also caused the loss of water pressure that she is experiencing now. The install tech told her that the acid reducer only needs maintenance every 3 years, which is incorrect. It should be done yearly and the calcite filter should also be replaced yearly. It also was installed without a softener which made her already hard well water, 10x harder.I called HL Bowman today and asked to speak with a Plumbing Manager regarding this. I was advised by Melissa that a request would be submitted to either Steve or Devon, but it may take 24 to 48hrs for a manager to return my call. I advised Melissa that if I do not hear from someone today, I would be submitting a complaint to the Attorney Generals office. This to me is taking advantage of an older person who lives alone. There was no need for this Acid Reducer System in the home, and they did not combine it with a softener to help the hardness. They also did not inform her of the proper maintenance which due to that now has caused additional issues with her water pressure to the home.Be cautious when reaching out to this company.

Have had a new unit from HL Bowman for 2 years and they have been great to deal with. Unit was acting weird last night after power went out and shutting off repeatedly. I had a leaky pipe from the kitchen sink and then sent technician, Luke, out. He identified the problem and told me a supervisor would email a quote for the repairs later that day or the next morning. Two days later, I hadn’t heard anything so I called the offices to find out Luke was told when he was here the job was beyond HL Bowman’s area of expertise and they wouldn’t be able to help me. If you can’t call a plumber to fix a leaky pipe I’m not really sure who else to call. Luckily I found Robinson Plumbing, not only did they have prompt appointments but the technicians they sent out had the skill and ingenuity and took the time to get me back up and running that day! I haven’t had a problem since. With HL Bowman, all I got was dishonesty and lack of general knowledge about their own “skill”. Look elsewhere!

Mike Farley came to fix a broken levered drain stopper in my bathroom sink. I also asked him to check out the toilet, because it had seemed to flush on its own just yesterday. He said that the toilet flap was worn out and that the mechanism in the tank needed to be replaced. He also replaced the toilet flush handle at my request.Mike set right to work when he arrived, assessing what the problems were. He clearly explained each of the problems and their solutions and offered me choices for the toilet flush handle.Mike was very considerate about putting on booties to keep the floors clean. He is friendly and upbeat and it was a pleasure to have him do this work.

Marquise was on time, very polite and considerate of my home. The scheduled appointment was for a clogged tub, which he handled without issue but in the process he Nd I noticed the flange was cracked allowing water to leak into the basement. After stating he didn't have the part, attempted to "sell" me on replacing my older pipes and when rejected had me sign invoice and left....leaving a leak and me still not being able to use the tub. While the technician successfully located the root cause of my furnace issue—a dead bird blocking the 3” exhaust pipe—the pricing and repair process were predatory.Before finding the bird, the technician misdiagnosed the system and charged me $935.23 to replace my pressure switch. The technician’s own notes showed that my original switch ohmed out perfectly during testing, and the brand-new switch immediately threw the exact same error code because the blockage was still there. This proves my original switch was working perfectly and just doing its safety job.The technician then quoted me an additional $1,020.36 just to cut the PVC pipe, remove the bird, and glue it back together. I declined, the tech left with my working original switch, and I fixed the issue myself for less than $15 in parts from the hardware store. The furnace now runs perfectly.Charging nearly $1,000 for a part that wasn't broken, plus quoting over $1,000 for a 15-minute PVC repair, is unacceptable. I am happy to pay a standard diagnostic fee for finding the bird, but I am demanding a refund for the unnecessary switch. The request for any adjustment was just denied. Proceed with extreme caution.

George and Kyle and the rest of the crew were amazing. I think the only person who was stressed out was me for arriving late. When I finally got through the traffic and arrived, they were already half way finished. You could tell this wasn’t the first HVAC they installed lol, they made it all look easy. George was very friendly and patient with me while I was trying to get there (we had a lock box issue and my tenant was not home). HL Bowman provided very professional and thoughtful service throughout a difficult diagnostic and replacement HVAC install. When things did not go as planned, they responded appropriately and worked with me to plot new paths forward.I secured multiple quotes from different calibers of HVAC companies. While HLB wasn't cheap, they quoted at ~10% less than a commensurate (in terms of reputation, size, etc...) competitor. Although their price was meaningfully higher than a much less reputable and established bidder, I opted for an established company with a demonstrated track record since my family depends on reliable HVAC serviceTheir team operated efficiently, professionally, communicated well and seemed generally smart and reasonable. Some the HVAC techs and electricians really impressed me with their depth knowledge and their analytical skills, as well as their ability to communicate their findings and thinking clearly and concisely. While the whole team was great, I want to shout out to Kyle, George and James - I really appreciated the effort, problem solving skills and super effective communication!No complaints - though they only just finished the install, so we will see how things go. Assuming that things go smoothly from here, I would definitely use them again - and would recommend them to others who value using an established, reputable company for something as critical and intimate as their home HVAC needs.

Had a BAD blocked shower and sink drain in bathroom. They contacted me on the weekend, showed up on time Monday morning, fixed the problem quickly! Also very honest - estimated $6-700 to snake the drain but found it didn't need to be snaked so charged me much less (they could easily have just done it and charged me). Found them through Angi(e's list).

Several days ago, we had a sewer leak into the basement. We detected it quickly and called Bowman plumbing. They came right out and cleaned out the sewer clog and then took a camera into the system. The piping was disinigrating and was not going to last much longer. 2 days later they sent out 3 gentlemen to dig up the out sewer line and replaced the pipes. They were on time, polite and skilled. They had to trench close to the house. When they had completed the work, the dirt was filled in, the sidewalk was swept and the yard was no worse for the wear. I would recommend this team to anyone who has sewer issues. Thank you Jordon and his team.

Julien was fantastic. He figured out quickly how to clear dirt from the humidifier which was preventing the water from going out the discharge hose. **Frank from HL Bowman came through for me once again. After my new shower turned out to be taller than expected, he returned to redo the pipe work so everything would line up correctly. He adjusted the plumbing cleanly and efficiently, explained what needed to change, and made sure the new setup was solid and up to code.Just like before, his workmanship was excellent. I highly recommend Frank — he’s consistently reliable, skilled, and easy to trust.---------------------------------------------Frank S. from HL Bowman did outstanding work at my home. He assessed the issue with a leaking pipe, explained exactly what was going on, and came out the very next day to take care of it. He cut out a small section of drywall to access the vertical stack on the first‑floor wall, removed the old 4” cast iron, and transitioned everything cleanly to 3” PVC. He ran the new sewer line below the joist and above the dropped drywall, installed a 3x2” PVC wye to pick up the vent, and tied the new 3” PVC back into the existing system.The workmanship was excellent, the layout was thoughtful, and he kept the area neat throughout the job. Frank took the time to explain each step and made sure everything was done the right way. I’m very impressed with the quality of his work and highly recommend him.

What a great company! It can be a challenge to get a company to come up our way (Jim Thorpe/Summit Hill) and then when they do they can be hit or miss. Not so with HL Bowman. We had a same day service manager visit. The quote for the work was VERY reasonable and the tech was out the next morning and stayed to finish the job. They also ran into some issues with the planned work they quoted and it ended up taking longer than they thought but they did not alter the invoice. Can't say enough about how impressed we are! We will hyping them up in our area and will be using them for all our plumbing needs going forward!

The estimator that came to my house came off as disrespectful. He snapped pictures of my electrical panel, which is normal, but sent them to his friend. He was laughing at his response in front of me. The estimator self censored some of the words which I am guessing were inappropriate.I have done a load calculation and determined there is nothing wrong with my panel. All of neighbor's with mini splits have the same panel configuration I do.The estimator states he can do my panel upgrade for $6k when I know several electricians that can do it for $1k or $2k.I was told my total cost would be $22k + $6k for a panel upgrade that's not needed. $28k for mini splits in a 1306sqft house. I asked for an itemized BOM but said he can't show it to me. As the estimator was leaving, he said I could finance this of all things....Very bad experience and I don't think I could ever recommend HL Bowman.From the estimator's own words "HVAC is a failed industry." I don't know why he needed to tell me that. Very uncomfortable experience.

I actually wasn’t going to leave a review but since i got a message about referring friends and family, here we are. Believe all the one star reviews. The company is responsive and nice until you address an issue. They also are not upfront about pricing. Called for a boiler restart. Considered an emergency call sent someone out the next day. Ended up costing $465. No parts needed. Was not told the price until after the service was completed. Had no choice but to pay. This is double their competitors prices.Boiler in is laundry area of the basement. Noticed a faint oil smell but thought it was from the tech bleeding the line. 3 days later i went into the laundry room because the oil smell had gotten strong. Turned the light on and saw a dark wet circle on the cement floor that was spreading and close to the dryer i was about to use. Located a leak where the connection to oil line is.Called HL immediately. Now i will say i understand I was calling on a Saturday for an emergency call. But when i called in the office rep i spoke with was indifferent and stated the next emergency call availability was the next THURSDAY. So a cash paying customer can get 24 hour turnaround time on an emergency, but if it’s to remedy their visit you need to wait a week. Rep stated they would elevate to their manager but no guarantees. I waited 2 hours with no manager call back.I called in again and spoke to a new rep. Their immediate resolve was to send someone Monday. Advised that would not work since my son’s bedroom is 5 ft away from the leak. They spoke with a manager and stated they would send someone out.10 mins later i received a call from a tech who said they’d be there in 30 minsWhen rectifying the situation the tech told me they only had one other emergency call that day and had been sitting home on call doing nothing prior to this visit.So they’re great when you’re paying them but their actual customer service is terrible when there’s a problem. They also did not respond when i advised i canceled my new boiler estimate due to poor treatment.A company’s service is based on how they respond when they aren’t being paid to care or upsell. And HL fails at it. I should have never used them because the 1 star reviews all say the same thing .

I made an appointment back in November, 2025 for the company to come and give me a tuneup for my AC. On April 2026.The company sent out another specialist who informed me that several things were broken Including my UV light and had to be repaired to the tune of approximately $4300.I agreed Figuring the work was going to be done in a timely manner instead, I got a phone call telling me that the repair work could not be done until Late September.I immediately canceled having the work done and called on another company to come to give me a tuneup.To my surprise, I was informed that there was nothing wrong with my air-conditioning unit, It was in perfect condition and as far as the UV light is concerned, all it needs is a lightbulb. So if you have money to burn continue staying with HL Bowman

Very professional and prompt service. Aaron was very knowledgeable regarding repairs and issues with wells, clearly explained the issues found and the options for repair with pricing for each. The repair was made timely and all debris/packaging removed by the company, he left the area cleaner than he found it. Aaron also has a great sense of humor and I enjoyed talking with him.I did have two other techs come to the house, 1 on a Sunday and he put my mind at ease that the leak was minor and would be fine until they could have a well tech come out. The 2nd tech come during regular business hours to fix the leak but recognized that there may be issues in addition to the leak that he was not able repair due to not having parts and rather make a repair knowing there are other issues he deferred to having a tech with greater knowledge of wells, Aaron, come out to evaluate and make the repair. I very much appreciate the level of professionalism shown by all the techs and would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone. I will be using them again should the need arise. Thanks Aaron for the great job and the laughs, much needed after worrying about the leak over a holiday weekend.

Among the worst customer service - they are rude, abrupt, and give zero notice on cancellations. Instead of rebooking you the same week for their issue, they will push your appointment out 2+ weeks, and are completely unapologetic. Save yourself the trouble and use another company.

Been a few years since last serviced furnace, as winters last (hopefully last) below freezing temps recently have us switching back to heat after days of open windows, my furnace not willing to fire up - dagnabit! We had a very positive experience with everyone involved in our heat pump installation from the initial visit through completion. We were able to schedule an appointment that was convient for us. We knew what we wanted done and had researched the average cost. Nathan measured our house and determined what size unit we needed. It ended up that the unit we had was too small. After giving us an explanation of the systems, we chose what we wanted. He didn't pressure us or try to talk us into extras, although we went with the best system. What made it even better was our ability to qualify for a senior citizen discount and a special, that made a significant difference in the price. We already had our money set aside for the project and were ready for installation.They were able to schedule us for the next day. Christian and the team were here right on time. I expected professionalism, courtesy, and care of our property, and clean up, and we weren't disappointed. The work was completed to our satisfaction by the afternoon. There were 2 things that I really appreciated. One was the quietness of their work and conversation....no banging, radios, or yelling to each other. I had gotten in from out of state and to bed at 3am. They weren't aware, but I had gotten up and moved to another room to go try to sleep. I was able to fall asleep with them going in and out and working right above me. Also Christian and his team did a great job of going over everything with me, and he was the only person who gave me an answer as to why our bedrooms don't heat and cool as well as the rest of the house.They are all above a non heated/ non cooled garage. We're thinking about putting more insulation on the garage ceiling to see if it helps. Our electric bills have been climbing and we're looking forward to a new and more efficient system hopefully lowering them.Thank you. Great job.

Very responsive and efficient company. Had an unusual sewer backup problem with no obvious solution but this was the only company to offer ways to fix it. Joe contacted the city sewer company and insisted they dig up the street to find out what was going on, as they could not clear the blockage. It turned out to be the main sewer which was clogged. Zach Wiker conducted a complimentary plumbing evaluation, during which he showed me evidence of sediment collecting on my kitchen spigot head. Zach recommended attaching a descaling unit to the water tank to clear the kitchen spigot and to prevent sediment clogging other spigots and shower heads in my home. He was prepared to attach the unit that day, did so and explained those things I should know about it. Zach was personable, professional and, obviously, a good salesman!

Everyone I worked with was very thorough and professional. While no one ever wants to have to replace their heating system, I am glad I chose this company. They diagnosed the problem quickly and had techs out immediately to set up my replacement. The work completed on the kitchen sinks and the second-floor bathroom was excellent, and everything is functioning perfectly.The only concern I have is that the drywall has not yet been fixed. The cut-open section in the ceiling looks unfinished, so I would really appreciate it if someone could come back and complete that as soon as possible.Overall, Kevin and his team did an amazing job. HL Bowman replaced my heat pump system a few months ago and I called them out most recently to replace my hose bib that had burst (before even buying my house!) from frozen pipes over a winter some time ago that I just now got around to dealing with now that I am starting a garden. Everyone from HL bowman that has come out either to give me a quote or to perform work on something has been nothing but kind and professional. Michael with HL Bowman was AWESOME. He kindly brought in my packages from our front porch. He gave my dog tons of attention and pets, and most importantly he knew his way around an HVAC system. I didn’t get the news I was hoping for (super costly repair or new hvac system), but he was there for moral support when I needed it the most. I was told these will be read at your weekly meetings. Give Michael a high-five if you’re standing near him. He’s a cool guy with a great personality and the ability to help you laugh through the pain of pending financial burden. The only issue I have is when he said the coils in my outside unit were dirty and needed cleaning, I assumed when I okayed the work, it was some kind of complex coil cleaning… not simply something my 10 year old son could have done using the garden hose. Could have saved myself $350…. Lesson learned.

Don’t recommend and will be in contact with better business bureau. First guy that came wasn’t on time with our 12pm-4pm appt didn’t show till 6pm and when he got here he came with broken equipment to even do the job but charged us $650. Next day another came he claimed we had a soft clog which we knew already and then claimed our pipes were broken and the price they gave us for clearing the soft clog and and fixing the so called broken pipe was $10,400 which is absolutely insane not to mention they gave us two other quotes of $22,000 and 32,000. We went out and dug up the pipes ourselves and there is definitely no broken pipe like they claimed talk about a company that’s money hungry and full of lies.

Spoke to HL Bowman to get a quote on a heat pump replacement for an aging heat pump already in place. Was told it would be only a few hours of work due to the existing setup. I was then was quoted a price almost double the other 5 quotes I received from competitors. Kyle and team did an excellent job replacing my 13 year old boiler when a broken water line leaked all over my old one basically frying it. On March 18,2023 Adam Bossic came to my home with two other gentleman to replace my air conditioner as the old one quite at the end of the season. He was the one who put the newcoil on my furnace. He had to change the drain on the pump aswell. They have to clean the old freon out and clean the hose.I looked at the old one and suggested that it would be easier tojust replace it. He said yes it would and he did replace it. He dida very neat wrap with the insulation.

Been using HL Bowman for years. They do tend to be overpriced but what happened lastnight caused me to write this review. I had a Navien system installed by them in Nov 2024. The 1 year repair warranty is now passed and i thought i had an extended warranty. Lastnight(3/19/2026) I noticed, while still in winter(31°F), the system threw and error code and is leaking water. With the error code we have no heat or hot water with a newborn baby in the home. I explained the issue and the lady stated the earliest they could get someone in was 3/25/26. Not to mention because I called after hours the fee for a person to come out during normal hours now is $105 not the $75. For a business that states they treat everyone as a family, I most certainly feel as a stranger.

The tech that was sent was not the tech that was originally assigned to the repair so he had to base the repair of pictures and a phone call. He was extremely helpful and polite and explained everything he was doing. He was very adamant about keeping our home clean. He was only an HVAC tech and not a plumber so he couldn't replace my kitchen faucet as planned. We felt bad for the poor communication he received internally because he was told the wrong diameter copper pipe to buy and had to run for more. Again, tech was great and did excellent work quickly. I don't like to blame waiters if the cook screws up steak and this is like that where he did everything he could to fully complete the job. Two pipes that were re-routed together in a loop left the cut off ends still attached to the side of the boiler where they were cut off rather than removing and capping them also.

We had our boiler break unfortunately this year and left with no heat. Austin Shafor was sent for diagnostic work and informed us we needed a whole new system. This was a shock but he showed and explained comprehensively why this is and used terms that non-boiler experts can understand.The very same day, they sent Nate Kudla, a sales specialist to inform us of their options. He was very informative and personable. The price was a shock but he lessened the blow with his reassurances and garuntees.The install was performed the very next day in very quick time where a whole new system was completed by Glen Keiper & Shayne Keiper. The work looks clean and professional.Overall, within my first call and completed job, the work was completed within 48 hours to a great standard.In case anyone has any price enquires, it is a lot more than Google AI says so don't believe that. We have since spoke to other mechanical specialists that say the overall price was reasonable.

I highly recommend HL bowman if you want rapid service on your HVAC. Pricing was reasonable in my opinion & financing is an option. Keep in mind when seeking quotes for your HVAC repair/ new install you must consider performance over equipment, that is if your want a good system that will have a good run/life span.

I called HL Bowman Friday night at 9pm in the middle of summer and was connected to a live person who scheduled a technician visit for Saturday morning. That alone was impressive! I received notice by text, and a call 5 minutes before the technician, Ryan arrived. He was friendly and professional. He found the problem right away and took a short time to fix it without added expenses. He also showed me some condensation and suggested a dehumidifier. I was so impressed that now I feel that I have a trusted company to take care of my oil furnace maintenance, my HVAC system, and my oil supply.

Marquise James was professional, efficient, and he made clear what possible steps might be necessary to clear out the clog which eluded my efforts to clear it for two days. He had it finished in a very short time for a reasonable price. The Tech , Ryan , could not have been nicer. He called before he arrived ( on time ) , listened to our concerns about our heating. He looked it over very carefully and explained each and every step. Mixed feelings so I don’t know if I will be using them again. Great office staff and customer service and polite technician. However, I can’t help feeling ripped off. Technician quoted me 500-600 to run a new thermostat wire. He went and talked to his boss and came back with over 900 dollars to run a wire. It only cost 500 to reattach the power to my house in an emergency.

They use an AI system to handle calls, which is interesting and modern. However, the plumber they sent arrived without parts or equipment. He was scheduled for the afternoon but arrived later and quoted $700 just to replace a toilet tank fill valve.Be careful — it seems like the business model relies on charging a $70–$80 visit fee even when no work is performed, followed by very high estimates.

Winters installed my new heating system just about three years ago. It’s been terrific, but recently it started to make some odd noises. Jeo, my excellent technician, identified the issue right away. A little air in the line, which he immediately took care of. And because my house is over 100 years old and settling, it caused two copper pipes to press against each other. So when the heat came on they would vibrate and make a rattling noise. A small spacer put between them solved the problem right away. Awesome service. Friendly and knowledgeable technician. And a responsive company. I give ‘em an A+.

This company is dishonest and is trying to take advantage of people!They came out to look at a combo boiler that failed. Gave us a quote for 28k to replace it. I'm talking drop the old unit , put up new unit and do little piping and turn it back on. Ive been in the trades for 35+ years and never had anyone give such inflated price. There goal was to take advantage of the situation during this cold weather snap. I had an other plumber come out on the same day ,replaced the unit and reworked the plumbing for fraction of the cost. My bill was 4k in material plus labor which was a fair price. We even tipped the plumber because he did such an amazing job. HL BOWMAN IS TERRIBLE do not even wast your time

Called HL Bowman as an emergency at night. They came the next day even though I was not a customer. My Heater and AC could not be fixed. They scheduled a new furnace install right away. The install went well and the techs were very professional. Unfortunately, the system never turned off after the techs left. I called back right away and was told I would hear back shortly. I waited until almost an hour then called back. I was told a tech would be back. Several hours later the manager informed me that no techs were available. I spent the night without heat. Two different techs arrive the next day. The low GWP board that runs the pressure sensors failed. They didn't have a replacement so they bypassed it. The next appointment time was missed. I called and after 20 minutes was speaking with the manager. He said he would call back. The call back was prompt and a tech was sent right away. Everything is now working.When calling they use an AI assistant to screen their calls. I believe I would have had a better response had I spoken to a person. HL Bowman (Pete) reached back out and apologized for the miscommunitions. They added an additional 1 year warranty for our trouble.

If I could leave 0 stars I would, not servicing a machine that was installed a year ago during the blizzard that isn’t working and leaving 2 elderly people without heat is a new low. This company purchased Winters in Waltham and doesn’t keep its commitments or honor the warranty for a boiler that was installed 1/25. I’ll be contacting everyone to inform them never to use your services. I’ll be contacting the State about your business practices. My experience with H.L. Bowman has been Awsome. I have a had a few members of the team come out for up keep and to check out an old unit. Ran into some issues with that old unit which Austin Shafor throughly explained what was wrong with the unit as well as showed me so I had a better understand ment of what the issues were. He referred me to Brett Yeagley which came out that same day to discuss options for a new unit. That gentleman right there made this whole process happen quick, easy, as well as made this possible to be replaced overnight. He went over everything in the book, pricing, different units, what unit woukd be suitable as well as in my price range he did excellent work and made my problem become a solution. He had a team come out the very next day to get this unit installed properly which they installed my A/C, Furnace, new condenser, and thermostat in a timely fashion. That team consisted of Anel Hernandez as well as Alnaydo Rodriguez two great members of the H.L. Bowman team. They explained what they were doing how they were going to go about installing the units as well as throughly explained the units and their functions properly. These guys treat you like family are willing to answer any questions you may have. They work hard and are very good at what they do. This whole team made what I thought was a nightmare become into an eye opening blessing by getting the job done perfectly in a day before this winter storm we are about to get. I will not be cold in my home and my pipes will not be freezing this winter with what this team as made into reality today. I appreciate the H.L. Bowman team and the work they do. I highly recommend you give these guys a call with any of your HVAC needs or wants. Just want to give a shout out to them as well as thank them for their service and good work thank you guys!

**EDIT** Since originally generating this review, we have been successfully able to get our system fully operational in time for the cold months. Though communication during the process was difficult due to the inconsistency of who we worked with, I was contacted by an escalation manager to be the point for any issues that arise. Having that single point of contact does help immensely, and the company did send out a specialized technician who was able to resolve all the issues.BLUF: While the technicians from HL Bowman were polite and respectful, our overall experience replacing our furnace and A/C was very difficult and stressful. From the date of sale, to the initial install a week later, it took approximately two months and 7 separate visits to obtain a fully functional system. I do not believe that this is a common occurrence, and I believe they are updating their processes and procedures to ensure it does not happen to anyone else again.Key Note: 24/7 Emergency Service is slightly misleading. The service is seasonal, and is mostly just weekends for any non life-threatening situation. Under most circumstances, assuming someone answers, this service should be everything it needs to be.We called Bowman after our A/C failed and decided to replace both systems, converting from electric to propane. The salesman no-showed the first appointment, and the installation team later realized they had forgotten a required part, leaving the system unfinished. From there, the situation only got worse — leaks, a blown valve, wiring mistakes, missing parts, and repeated delays.Across six separate visits, we experienced multiple late arrivals and one complete no-show, even on a day when their presence was required for the propane hookup. We lost work time, paid for a wasted propane service call, and spent weeks waiting for ordered parts and corrections.Adding to the frustration, two technicians gave conflicting explanations of what system had been installed. One said propane-only, another said dual-fuel. We later learned that we actually received a dual system, not what we were told we purchased.When colder weather arrived, the furnace performed poorly — slow to heat, unable to maintain temperature, and the house cooled rapidly when it shut off. Calling after hours for help was no better: their advertised “24/7 Emergency Service” turned out to be seasonal and only available if a technician is willing to work overtime.The individual techs were great people, but the company’s coordination, communication, and reliability have been challenging for a whileI do not think this is a common issue for people, but it did, unfortunately, happen to us. What started as a quick install turned into a couple months long slog going into freezing temperatures before the system worked correctly.

STAY AWAY!!Extremely over priced and scary.I had a leaking valve which i replaced with Apgar for (250$ out the door).Or with A Plus HVAC for same price.They asked me to pay them 1600$ to replace a leaking valve and try to intimidate me into believing my oil burner is in bad shape and needs a-lot of work.The Lady Samantha from customer service wasn’t very polite and tried to take a 500$ deposit pre service fee which i refused to give because they advertised a free diagnostic no obligation.I can smell scheme artists from miles, Stay away.

I have oil based heating, and my heat stopped working during a period when temperatures were around 10 to 20 degrees. With a one year old in the home, this was an urgent situation and I was actively looking for help.I called HL Bowman and they said they would send someone out to fix the issue. A technician arrived later that same day. He initially diagnosed the problem as a loose wire in my aquastat and told me the heat should now work. As he was leaving, I went upstairs to verify and noticed the heat was still not working. I asked him to take another look and he confirmed that heat was not moving through the baseboard radiators.He went back downstairs, checked the system again, and told me that the aquastat would need to be replaced for my New Yorker boiler. I asked for the price and was quoted $1400. He said he had the part in his work van. It sounded expensive, but given the cold weather and having a one year old in the home, I felt I had no choice but to proceed and decided to pay the premium to have the issue fixed.The technician completed the work, said everything was working, and left after I signed and paid. While I should have verified the heat myself before he left, the technician departed and there was still no heat coming from the radiators. Nothing had been fixed and I was out $1400. I called HL Bowman again, but the next day was New Year’s Day and they were closed.On January 2nd, a second technician came out. He told me that the real issue was a fried Taco circulator pump, which explained why the heat was not working. I was then given another $1400 quote to fix this issue. At that point, I decided to stop working with HL Bowman. I was already out $1400 and still without heat. The first technician left without fixing the problem, and the proposed resolution from the second technician was simply to charge me another $1400.I am extremely disappointed in the lack of attention to detail for something as critical as home heating. The heat was never working after the first visit, and my only option presented was to pay another large repair bill or look elsewhere.I strongly suggest that anyone using this company verify everything they are told and do their own due diligence regarding what has actually been fixed. I trusted HL Bowman based on the reviews I had read, and that trust ended up costing me significantly.

The first time they came out I had a great experience and decided to sign up for their membership. That was a mistake, since then every appointment I've made has either been rescheduled or no one even shows up. Their internal communication is so bad. If you call and ask where your technician is don't expect an answer anytime soon because they have no way of directly contacting a technician. I would avoid this company at all costs. They do not care about their customers in the slightest

Only $168 annually And he said if I signed up he'd waive the labor cost for today. The contract includes checking our heating, cooling, electrical & plumbing 4 visits per year. We didn’t have heat in our house for up to two weeks because my furnace stopped working I tried some one else to look at it but he only told me that it looks fine and to change the The batteries and the thermostat changed the filter and had a 45° pipe outside to the already existing exhaust pipe Tom about the code when it stopped working again and he said he’d order a part and let me know when by that time it’s already been a week and I needed heat so I called HL Bowman. It came out took a look tried everything got it working again but a day later it stopped called them back and let them know. Another person came out. Austin don’t even deeper and found the issue that I needed a new furnace so he contacted Josh who helped us out with pricing getting a plan and they got me a new furnace on Friday from Wednesday and the two technicians Timothy and Greg both came out and set up our new furnace with our new thermostat. Make sure everything worked properly cleaned everything up professionally I had a buddy there cause I wasn’t able to be there and he kept me updated on the progress sent the photo. Everything looked beautifully and when I got home that night it just felt so nice to have heat in the house. I truly appreciate all the work that they did made a fantastic job

we lost heating the day before thanksgiving and after reaching out to multiple companies they all said we’d be on a week long waitlist. He fixed the unit with no issue and I was so pleased with the service that I began the service membership on the spot. Luke is scheduled to come next week to perform maintenance on the unit. They canceled my appointment the day before and it was scheduled over a month out I called and an artificial intelligence person answers the phone cant get the correct spelling of my name when I asked for a real person it transferred me and Noone answered the phone so it shifted me to a machine and asked to leave a message or wait for the next available representative in which Noone answered and then kept looping me back and forth to the machine and same message still Noone answered 🤣Also last year they put in a new computer system and weren't taking out my monthly contract fee and then all at once deducted a large amount from my bank account all at once without any notification which after seeing it I canceled my yearly contract they told me nothing just went into my bank account and took what they want. Its all wrong.

All the Technicians that installed our equipment showed professionalism, were respectful, obviously knowledgeable but also took the time to impart more than just the basic information that as a home owner you should know. This is for the "free" appointment we had scheduled today. We were told 8AM-12PM and there was no call or show.... I completely understand that things happen and it takes longer than expected but you must let people know! I had to call in at 12 to see what happened. Then no call or show 2 hours later at 2 pm. There goes 6 hours waiting for the plumber.Meanwhile, I see another plumber next door and have them come into my home for free and give me a quote. I called again to Bowman and asked a lady if they were coming and received the same answer (it's now 2 PM) and they had no idea when they would show up. The quote is not free unless you go with them and who knows when they will show up! I wasted a whole day waiting and now I have to wait another day because I don't think you should have my business. No apology from the second lady, she just got annoyed when I asked questions to see why they mentioned the quote was free. I'm allowed to ask questions.... From your other comments, I see some people had the same problem. It looks like there just needs to be some communication. I assume you do not need the business if you do not call. If you are too busy you can tell people you cannot do it and save them some time.

I was delighted with the service that Bruce Fischer from HL Bowman provided on our freezer and refrigerator. We were given clear choices and explanations and Bruce went above and beyond to make our relatively old equipment work like new. He was very pleasant and I would be happy to see him again when we need him.
