The original Sales and installation experience was done very well. But my after-market experience has been less than satisfactory. I've attempted to reach the salesperson through various phone calls and emails. Phone calls and emails were never returned. I spoke to the office asking he contact me and all that they would say is that they will send him an email so he can contact me. This never happened. I wanted to question him on the sales financing and why the $500 referral has never been sent to the person referring me. I'm wondering where the breakdown is in this process.

They came the day I called and diagnosed the problem and gave us a cost estimate. They showed up the next day and replaced our water heartier and repaired valves in our shower fixtures. They cleaned up after themselves. The work was well fine.

The worst company they were here no exaggeration two minutes looked at my hot water heater said it’s leaking. The hot water heater is not even two years old there is no leak It needed a temperature sensor and I asked them to replace it. Because it’s under warranty They refused to replace it they said it was leaking because the condensation inside of the tank there was no leaks on the ground. again they were here two minutes. said I’d need a whole new hot water heater and they were testing my water and I just asked them to replace the temperature sensor and then said it was a $400 bill. To do a full examination It’s a scam too because it’s $75 for the call they waive the $75 then they try to charge me 400 to do a thorough examination but I told him what the problem was. I checked the continuity on the temperature sensor and it was bad. All I wanted was for them to give me a quote on a temperature sensor and they try to scam me spending $400 to look over it But I already told him what the problem was

I was overall very happy with this company. All of the techs (Tom Scott, Hunter Briner, and Reshaun Heck who did the plumbing work) that came to our home were friendly, professional, transparent, and patient in explaining things to both me and my husband, especially when we were navigating alternate work schedules. They are highly communicative, send clear itemized estimates, and offered great financing options with 0% interest for 18 months. I hope I don't need services anytime soon but would recommend to anyone who does!

I was searching for a great HVAC service based on testimonials and reviews as one company I had often referred was no longer servicing my area. HL Bowman popped up on my screen and offered a free estimate. They sent Technician Extraordinaire Steve Unger who did some very impressive diagnostics that ultimately explained why I needed a new furnace & A/C. He even dismantled and ran a camera thru the heat exchanger. As a home inspector I was very impressed with the time and knowledge he shared with me. As a result, Bowman sent Alex Stone to explain what I would need and how the new equipment would actually save me money and improve efficiency. Their 0 percent financing and exceptional warranty impressed me as well. We signed the deal for what I felt was a fair price with Ct incentives and the installation crew completed the task neatly and professionally under Simon's supervision. Now we have a Bosch heat pump and a natural gas back-up furnace providing heating and cooling. The experience was first rate, and I will refer them to our Home Inspection Clients when they need HVAC service.

Tried to scare a friend and ripped up her entire front yard and threw a huge ballpark of $40,000 to fix when her issue was outback the entire time and anyone with some proper knowledge would have know that. Disgusting and disappointing that they lied and that they ripped up her front yard when that wasn’t where the issue was at all.Reporting to BBB.

Decided to get rid of my oil furnace and go with a new gas furnace. The gas company told me they couldn’t hook my house to a gas line until the spring because of permitting issues.H. L Bowman advised I can run the new gas furnace off my existing propane tank until the gas gets hooked up so I went with it!. These guys installed a beautiful new gas furnace, removed my 36 year old oil furnace-all in the same day. Everything was spotless when they left and they went over the entire system with me so thoroughly, even I could understand it! Would definitely refer these guys to anybody I know!

Update:Called HL Bowman as an emergency for electrician services. Even though it was affecting my heat, I was told that I can't get service for two days because an employee was out sick. The electrician came in two days as promised and was able to quickly fix the issue for under $200.*****Update:Had an oil tank replaced at my dad's house. They did a great job and were very professional.*****Original:Called HL Bowman as an emergency at night. They came the next day even though I was not a customer. My Heater and AC could not be fixed. They scheduled a new furnace install right away. The install went well and the techs were very professional. Unfortunately, the system never turned off after the techs left. I called back right away and was told I would hear back shortly. I waited until almost an hour then called back. I was told a tech would be back. Several hours later the manager informed me that no techs were available. I spent the night without heat. Two different techs arrive the next day. The low GWP board that runs the pressure sensors failed. They didn't have a replacement so they bypassed it. The next appointment time was missed. I called and after 20 minutes was speaking with the manager. He said he would call back. The call back was prompt and a tech was sent right away. Everything is now working. When calling they use an AI assistant to screen their calls. I believe I would have had a better response had I spoken to a person. HL Bowman (Pete) reached back out and apologized for the miscommunitions. They added an additional 1 year warranty for our trouble.

AI bot answered the phone and sent the wrong type of serviceman out to the house. They sent a repairman and we wanted a quote to move a refrigerant line for a deck replacement. We still had to pay $70. They sent an estimator out later in the week. We explained that we didn't want to spend 20k to install a new heat pump system as we are planning a major interior renovation in 5 years. We just need to move one refrigerant line which is attached to the bottom of our rotting deck. The tech, David R., said he would send us an estimate to move the line and one for a hot water tank replacement. After 1.5 weeks and several requests for the estimate that was never sent, they sent this message, "There is nothing to estimate at this time as we don't recommend a line set replacement/move for an older mini split system. Replacement to accomodate the new deck is the best investment option. We can provide an estimate for that if you'd like." Apparently they won't quote a job unless it is at least 15K. What a colossal waste of time. After posting this review, someone reached out to us to ensure us that they will do all sizes of jobs, just not our job. They also refunded our $70 service fee.

So far my experience has not been good. I had a tune up in May for my AC to prepare for summer and satisfy my HOA requirement. I found the only way they’d leave you alone (if you done business before with them) for the “free tune up” was to just schedule the appointment, and figured why not it is free. I mentioned I didn’t feel the system, less than 7 years old (replaced in day one of moving in) was running correctly because it wouldn’t cool down very fast and seemed like it ran too much. All the technician and company was worried about was pushing more services and giving estimates not related to the point of the visit. Come to find out my concern wasn’t even addressed. Even their report said I had grass/weeds growing at the outside unit….my unit is on an elevated balcony. Tell me how I have grass and weeds 15 feet in the air on a balcony. By then it was Summer and hot, so I figured the system was just having a hard time keeping up and assumed that was also the cause of my big increases in electric bills. Now it won’t cool below 72, no signs of leaks, good filter, etc. I do notice they left a small pin sized hole in the air handler…I’m assuming that should have been covered back up with the foil tape, but I wasn’t touching it. I’ve turned everything off for 3 days to make sure it doesn’t cause more problems. I had an appointment scheduled for today, to also do their Heating promo price deal to make sure heat is good come cold temperatures. They now call me to cancel the appointment after wasting half of my day leaving me with 77 degree temps inside and an elderly dog that overheats easily, so now I’ll have to run fans. Great Friday timing to have to deal with it 4-5 days or have to get someone else on no notice. I now have to wait until next week for them to come. Contemplating having someone else come, but don’t want excuses that someone else touched their “tune up”, so we will see how this turns out, but for now the only vibes I get are shady business practices so their is future high cost opportunities for them. Don’t get me started with what I just found with my water shutoff from when they fixed a clogged sink and a dripping tub faucet when I first moved in. If you don’t need to, I’d choose someone else if I were you. I unfortunately have to see this through with them.Edit: Forgot to mention I was told on my cancellation call that this Tuesday would be the new appointment. I was disconnected from the call when I mentioned I may have to try someone else to get one sooner. Accident? Maybe? Never received a confirmation of new appointment, so i had to schedule online again. I wasn’t calling back because I don’t want to end up being rude. Guess what, now availability isn’t until next Friday. That will be 10 days now I’ll have to wait after getting my first appointment early in the week? It just keeps getting better the level of service you get and how they must stand behind their work. I do hope they prove me wrong and make it right. Some of us live on a budget with not just money but time is valuable as well.2nd Edit. Finally had my appointment late in the evening today 10/20. Guess what, the system is low on refrigerant. I mention in May that it was taking forever to cool down, so why was it not caught then? Too busy pushing all the other services and some VIP club to “save” me money. Save me money from not fixing issues to begin with before it is a bigger issue? We can recharge and put some other stuff in it to maybe stop the leak for $1400. Why would I just want to waste money if there is a leak? Good thing I was the one asking about a leak test because I doubt it’d even been offered. Even had to bring up the warranty because it hasn’t been 10 years since I replaced it….but yeah that test is also like $450 “because they use something fancy that will make all kinds of noises to identify a leak”. I guess that fancy machine needs paid for. Can’t fix it the first time in May? Sounds again like I was set up for future business costs. I do not trust this company.

CONSCIOUS BUYERS BEWARE They had to send several technicians out for the same issue. Each one "found the problem" and "fixed it" only for the issue to come back 30 minutes after each technician walked out the door. I paid each tech hundreds for something unnecessary or bogus later to find out THEY ALL GET A COMMISSION so it benefited them to find the "problem". The last guy did something to my furnace and now my electric bill is through the roof and the furnace isn't even getting hot! To add insult to injury they all would upsell me a service I didn't want, more $$ to these salesmen pretending to be serious technicians. It's so disrespectful to me as a customer to be taken advantage of by the company as a whole. Fancy advertising should've been a red flag. If they cared more about the customer they would hire honest, educated, and professional techs and pay them a very fair wage. This company wouldn't need to advertise that hard if they didn't need to. Word of mouth gets around... and combined with my experience I am now left to believe the advertising is overcompensating for the bad experiences. Also I need to mention they are the most expensive I've found for simple furnace replacement quotes. They even do the whole sales bit with a simple thing like that. They will tell you that you need to have a better or more efficient component for some reason or another...but it's a sales strategy, at least it was in my case and many other's I've spoken to. And the icing on top!? They have a payment plan! This is to make it affordable. Fellow customers, with wisdom, I advise you to do yourself a favor and shop around. You will find better technicians and get much better prices if you call around and compare three or more quotes from legit HVAC companies for the same service.Go with peace and better business ethics HL Bowman. May we never cross paths again. Every day is a new chance to change and learn from mistakes. We are people, not a bottom dollar

We're actually in Honesdale where they have a3 hour dive just to get to us. So after a 3 hour drive and getting an excavator, they put in 7 hours of work non stop. We still will need a new water tank but they made sure to leave us with water til they can schedule putting that in. Then they back filled the hole which also had a lot of heavy rocks in it, cleaned up and still faced another 3 hour drive home. Very professional, pleasant and hard working. Will definitely call them again if we needed more work done.

Poor installation and inadequate communication regarding a new furnaceI had a new furnace installed at the end of July. The air conditioning worked properly, so I had no reason to suspect an installation problem. About two and a half months later, when I first used the heat, the system blew only cold air.On their first visit to fix the unit, the service notes incorrectly listed the unit as six months old, although it was not yet three months old, and reported failures of the inducer motor and gas valve.I told the manager, Nick, that I suspected an installation issue. He said the unit had been tested and produced heat, which he considered proof that the installation was not at fault. Four days after the repair, however, the heat failed again. During the next service visit, a technician found that the exhaust pipe had been pitched incorrectly. According to the technician, this damaged the inducer motor causing its failure, confirming this was an installation issue. The technician made a temporary repair and said the exhaust pipe would be corrected on Monday. I asked Nick to contact me, but he did not. By Sunday, the heat had failed again. Nick did not answer or return my call, and technicians later applied another temporary repair. My repeated requests for a response remained unanswered. The company eventually returned to work on the exhaust pipe on Monday, but I was not told whether the work was completed or whether the problem was fully resolved. My final request for Nick to contact me also received no response.Mechanical components can fail, but this experience involved repeated heating failures in a new system, an installation defect that was initially dismissed, multiple service visits, temporary repairs, and poor management communication.I paid for a properly installed, functioning furnace. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company for a new HVAC installation.

This company is excellent and top notch, and the technician JUSTIN, who came out to my home was so thorough and explained everything to me. There was things that the technician found where other companies did not repair things correctly, which could lead to more damage to my heater this company and their technicians does not just come out And tell you what you need and how much they go through a thorough inspection and checklist of everything to make sure that they are giving you the best value. They also have an excellent maintenance program which I signed up for. I have had other HVAC companies out and this one far exceeds every one of the other ones if you’re looking for HVAC company who all does so does electrical and plumbing work definitely choose Bowman. I promise you will not be Disappointed and if possible ask for JUSTIN I don’t know anything about the other technicians but this one is excellent. This company and their technician is very very respectful of your time and your money and they treat your home like it’s theirs. I have to be very honest. I’ve never had a service company that was this good in my entire Life and I’ve dealt with many companies and me myself was in a customer service base company for 17 years and this company goes out of their way for their customers.

We have been using HL Bowman for our HVAC needs for the past two years. Unfortunately, nearly every service visit has resulted in hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars in repairs. Our most recent experience has left us questioning how this company does business, and we will not be using their services again. In January, HL Bowman began contacting me about a complimentary plumbing evaluation included in the MVP membership we pay for. We were also told that any repairs or parts would qualify for a 15% discount. Since we had a bathroom leak that was coming through the kitchen ceiling, we agreed to the evaluation. We were advised that a full shower replacement was recommended because access was limited and replacing everything would ensure there were no other issues hidden behind the shower walls. We were given a verbal quote of approximately $14,000. Both my husband and I were shocked by the price, but we needed the leak addressed promptly and believed the MVP discount would apply. The representative even shared that she had paid over $18,000 for her own tub before working for HL Bowman, which gave us the impression that the price we were quoted was reasonable. We made a decision under pressure to resolve an urgent problem, trusting a company we had already used for two years. Unfortunately, we are extremely disappointed with the result. The entire sales process happened verbally. We were given a price of approximately $14,000, agreed to move forward, and proceeded with the financing paperwork. The written quote listed only a single $14,000 installation charge, with no itemized breakdown of parts, labor, or other costs. We were not clearly informed verbally that our MVP discount would not apply to this charge. We were also told we would have a functioning shower the same day. Instead, the shower is unusable until we can address the drywall and flooring left needing repair. As the installation was being completed, the installer mentioned that we would need to have drywall work done because the new tub did not fit the same way as the old one. This was the first time this consequence had been brought to our attention verbally, although we later discovered it was mentioned in small print on the quote. For a project costing nearly $14,000, we expected these details to be clearly explained before we committed—not left for us to discover after the fact.Another major concern is that we received no 15% MVP discount whatsoever. Because the quote listed the entire project as one installation charge rather than itemizing the parts and labor, we received no discount on the work. My husband contacted the office to ask why our membership discount had not been applied. After waiting more than three business days, we received a text stating that installations are not eligible for the discount, but we have received no further meaningful response or explanation. We were led to believe that our membership would provide a discount on this work. That distinction apparently mattered a great deal when it came time to pay, but it was not clearly explained when we were making a nearly $14,000 purchasing decision. To be fair, the plumbing work itself appears to have been done well. However, the overall result, the additional work we now need to arrange, the lack of transparency surrounding the membership discount, and the poor follow-up have left us deeply dissatisfied with what we received for the price. The issue is not simply that the project was expensive. It is that we made a major financial decision based on the information provided to us verbally, only to discover important limitations and additional costs after the fact. After two years as customers, this experience has completely eroded our trust in HL Bowman. We expected better from a company we had trusted to maintain our home. The lack of transparency surrounding the pricing and MVP discount, the unexpected additional work, and the lack of meaningful follow-up have made it clear that we will not be using their services again.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this company in you need a sewer line repaired. After paying over $14k for a sewer relined, our sewer was blocked less than two years later. They told us that they should have lined the whole sewer and they guy that did the work was not longer with the company. They then quoted us another $5k to finish the job at a "discount". The come and finish the job. 5 days later I have water leaking up from the base of our toilet. We call them to come out. The service guy says they will be back to fix it later today. They were to arrive between 2 and 6 pm. As of 7:45 pm we have not received a call or any explanation. Our attempt to contact the emergency line only ended in more frustration when the receptionist couldn't even get the emergency tech on the phone or provide us with any kind of information. Boiler descaling and main pump replacement resulted in no hot water for the weekend. First Friday was a diagnosis. The system definitely needed a descaling as it was overdue, the main pump was working but was super heated and was making a clicking noise earlier in the week, so it seemed to need replacement. The system continued to work, without any clicking, until the actual service one week later which was the pump replacement and descaling. We found that our hot water wasn't working the evening of the pump replacement/descaling. HL sent out a tech on Saturday after we called that morning. He did something (pipe flush) where it appeared the water tank was being heated but it wasn't, or was very short lived, as the tank never reheated. We called back to get somebody out again but didn't get anybody on Saturday night or Sunday. I resolved the problem myself Sunday night. My take on this is that the tech's have definitely completed their training courses and know how to do break fix repairs but can't diagnose something beyond that without pointing to motors or pumps that are indeed in working order. For the high cost I will find an experienced plumber with their name on the side of the truck that isn't a corporation using apprentice level skills. Especially on a call back. Overall, I feel like I got a little taken on this service and won't be using them again. I chose them because they were a Best Of choice but I've learned my lesson.

Overflowing toilet an water leaking into the basement was the issue. The bathroom floor was flooded and toilet still overflowing. When I called HI Bowman, I was told to use a plunger in the toilet bowl to get the water to stop backing up, and to mop up the water on the floor. One eliminated tbe water leaking into the basement will slow down and stop. I made an appointment with them for the next morning to come out and check thins out to see if anything else had to be taken care of. The water had stopped leaking downstairs and Jeremiah identified where and why it had leaked. He checked that the pipes were not broken or leaking. He checked the sewer pipe outside to make sure it was accessible for camer pictures, checked underneath both sinks to make sure there were no leaks, verified that the toilet was not the cause of the leak, but a blockage in the pipe, which was cleared when I spoke with someone when I first called. The people I spoke with on the phone when zi first called, and Jeremiah when arrived the next day were very knowledgeable, and professional. I will definitely contact them for any other plumbing issues, as well as any electrical, heating, or cooling services I may need in the future. I will definitely recommend them to my neighbors, and others.

Clint came out on an urgent call on a Saturday. He noted that some of the work that should have been completed earlier wasn’t up to par and proceeded to double check everything and fix the issue (everything was working but no heat was blowing out)! He fixed everything and since we had just been serviced a few weeks earlier didn’t charge us! Now that is true customer service. Clint obviously believes in his company HLBowman, but also takes pride in his work. Thank you Clint, you are a superstar!!

Bowman has been great for emergency fixes. They have the staff & resources. They fixed a gas leak coming into house quickly & installed a tankless water heater. The tech did a fine job. Before that they replaced a macerating toilet promptly as we had a guest coming in 2 days. They also did a complementary descaling after complaining here on their "free HVAC maintenance." I had a winter & summer visits & BOTH times each tech did not clean anything! Instead they showed me tons of photos of impending doom. Then they rushed me to quote for a completely new system. I also never receive anything in email when all the techs say they will send me details. I went with a different company who quoted much less, provided a temp cooling solution & offered Carrier (premium brand compared to Bryant).

Do not use this company. They tried to scam me into replacing a perfectly good system using intimidating scare tactics. They bought my previous contractor (Winters Home Services). During a service call last winter, the tech claimed they saw holes on my gas furnace's heat exchanger, that it was no longer safe to operate, and turned off the gas. I asked for a second opinion from another company. Turned out there were no holes, just some normal rust, and unlike the first tech they ran a combustion test to confirm there was no CO. Everything was just fine.I foolishly used H.L. Bowman to do my annual maintenance again this year, as it was the last year of my service contract and I assumed I had just gotten an overzealous tech the previous year. Instead, they again claimed they saw rust that indicated an unsafe heat exchanger, as well as other supposed safety problems with my heat pump. A meeting that I assumed would involve understanding the "issues" turned into a 2.5 hour high-pressure sales pitch to immediately sign a contract to replace the entire system at an inflated price. After I pushed back and noted that they had not done a combustion test on the furnace, the sales guy said his boss told him the system was too dangerous to run and turned the gas off, just like the previous year.Once again, I had another company come out and check the system, including running the combustion test I had demanded. As expected, they confirmed the system was safe, and the combustion test showed no issues. There was one relatively minor issue with the heat pump, certainly nothing that required replacement.I will not do business with this company ever again.

HL Bowman came out to check on my unit after I had water in my basement and my furnace wasn’t working. I paid a flat fee for a plumber to come and tell me that nothing was wrong. Then I had an HVAC tech come and tell me that there was water inside my system that was coming from rain water through the exterior exhaust system that they incorrectly installed when I had the system put in. They told me it would be $350 for the repair. He recommended a UV light to kill mold and bacteria in my duct work, as well as a duct work cleaning and a new whole home dehumidifier unit. I had the UV light installed which I was told was $150. I also asked where the folks went to school and they said no one goes to HVAC school, you learn by doing. They recommended the other work be done as well so I had it scheduled for the following week. My card was then charged $6,600.00 before the remainder of the work was completed. I was told the new unit would be $3,500 all-in, and that he could discount the duct cleaning to $500 if I joined the VIP Membership program. I’m not sure how we got to $6,600, but when I called to inquire and get a breakdown I was greeted by an AI assistant ‘Tucker’ posing as a human with fake office chatter in the background. That turned me off completely after what was already worrisome service. I cancelled all work and requested a refund. A week went by, no refund. I called multiple times again and asked for a cost breakdown and refund timeline, everyone told me 3-5 days. The 4th time I called someone told me that the task is their system was marked complete but no refund was pending. They said someone would call. No one called so I reached out again. Same story. Today I saw a refund in my account for $1,741 as opposed to the $6,000+ I was expecting. I called again and was told that all other work was marked completed. They said “someone from finance will contact you in the next 24-48 hours, but if they don’t just call back.” Come to find this local company was sold to private equity, so this all makes much more sense, but this is a night and day difference from the experience I had with HL Bowman when we had our unit installed 5 years ago. I would never refer them to anyone, and will update this if no resolution is reached, but up to this point it seems like fraud.

We've been using Winters for our plumbing needs for many years. Recently, Bowman acquired Winters. Except for a confusing phone call from Pennsylvania alerting us to the tech's arrival, the appointment went smoothly.Five stars to Hamza who was friendly, professional, did a thorough job and answered our questions. He performed our annual boiler/hotwater combination maintenance and neutralization chip change out. He explained our Winters service agreement was up for renewal and would provide a discount for services for one year.Overall, I provided a 4 star review because we weren't provided with a service statement nor the service agreement terms. Is that an office or tech function?? Hopefully that glitch will sort out as the companies fully merge.

We use HLBowman for semi annual HVAC and plumbing maintenance, and they’re always professional. I like that they send pictures of who is coming because it makes me feel very secure. Just this week, they replaced our water heater and installed a water filtration system. It requires a second visit, which we weren’t originally told about, but every one of their associates have been kind and professional. This last winter, they had to do an entire heating/AC install. It took a bit longer than we were told, but they were professional the entire time. The system maintenance is reasonably priced in my opinion, since neither my husband nor I are “fix it” types. As far as the system install, they aren’t any more expensive than the machinery itself. And any labor charged, for us, is well worth it.

We had an excellent experience with Eric Cornier and his team at HL Bowman / Winters Home Services. Our air-conditioning system was only six years old, but the original installer had inexplicably left the old unit suspended above the stairs. When we contacted Aspinwall Baystate, who carried out the original installation, they insisted it had been correctly fitted inside a closet—which it very clearly had not been!Eric immediately understood the problem and handled everything professionally. He and his team safely removed both systems and will be installing our new system next week. Throughout the process, Eric has been knowledgeable, reliable and reassuring. Our experience has been fantastic, and we cannot recommend Eric Cornier and the team at HL Bowman / Winters Home Services highly enough.

Super Fast and Efficient replacement of my ancient HVAC system today, and the new setup looks amazing and was cooling the house in the first hour. Ian, Mike, and Brian worked as a team and knocked this out. I still can't believe we were able to have it lined up the day after assessing the old one, it's awesome HL Bowman had the units at the ready, to have this done before the heat wave this week! Also want to thank Josh for his initial assessment and for explaining all the new technologies/terms to my wife and I, he put in a few hours of getting everything lined up and rolling, and directing us towards a system tailored to our needs. I'll be contracting with HL Bowman to maintain the new system plus an existing mini split system on my detached garage to keep everything running smoothly.

Update 8/22/26: Colin Dunn is fantastic. Please send him to our house for all HVAC maintenance and repairs. Sadly, the estimator who first investigated our leaking water heater misdiagnosed the problem and just wanted to sell us products that we did not need, like a whole house pressure reduction valve. We initially agreed to the work. When Colin came to do the work he quickly determined that we needed to replace an internal check valve. He coordinated with another member of the team who came out with the part and made the repair that same afternoon. I like Colin, he is smart and he is honest.

Jack Murog and Jacob Null replaced our 32 year old compressor and coil with a great new system. They took the time to braze shut a waterline that fed an old humidifier. Not only did they remove the old humidifier and repair the duct, but the braze job ensures no future leaks. They also did a great job affixing the coolant lines to the exterior. Very professional. Great work. We are very satisfied with the entire process including the second truck that hauled the old stuff away. Give those two a raise. It’s hard to find and keep good help. I also appreciated how quickly Nate was able to show up and attempt a repair the day the old system quit. Jack and Jacob also kept us informed of our different options throughout the entire install process and even let me keep the garden hose to basement drain setup. Thank you. I will highly recommend HL Bowman. Of course the complimentary furnace clean and electric or plumbing inspection doesn’t hurt either.Thank you all again for a great experience during a lousy time.

Tim McGuire was absolutely fantastic from the first minute of the consultation to the installation of a new tankless water heater. He was extremely professional and very well-versed in explaining things throughly and in an easy to understand way for a layperson. Never felt pressured to pick the most expensive option and was very kind and caring. H.L Bowman has wonderful service and a wonderful team. Tim is definitely the guy you would want to solve any plumbing issues.

Highly recommend H.L. Bowman! Jason and Cory showed up right on time and replaced both our old A/C unit and furnace in just half a day. They worked efficiently, took great care to respect our home and property, and kept us in the loop throughout the entire installation. They were extremely knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions without hesitation. While they might not be the cheapest contractor in town, you truly get what you pay for—top-notch quality, complete professionalism, and peace of mind. Fantastic service from start to finish

This was my first time with hiring HL Bowman. They were in my mind as I like the catchy radio advertisements so I gave them a call. They were quick in dealing with my 28 year of failing shower fixture. The tech Adin S. was friendly / competent and did a very good job and cleaned up the work area. No issues at all. I highly recommend. Also, one of my cats enjoyed the excitement of someone else in the second floor of the house as this is his territory.

I called them to get a quote for removing and replacing my tankless water heater. Gave the exact model and detail that it was simply taking off the old unit and putting on the new unit which was the exact same model. Was told they could not provide a quote without sending a technician out to review the job first which would cost $70. The technician arrived and was surprised to find out it was a remove and replace of a like for like unit... After consulting with his manager provided a quote that was 3x my prior quote. If you don't have the expertise to work that model hot water heater, JUST SAY THAT ON THE PHONE instead of wasting my time and charging me $70.

My AC unit stopped working before a heat wave and most HVAC companies were charging $200+ just to stop by and assess the issue. Most companies didn’t even have availability for at least a month out but HL Bowman had availability for the following morning. I was told the visit was free and I’d just have to pay for parts and labor which was great.I had a 8am-10am window scheduled and Goran was on time and called me about 30mins before arrival. He was efficient, spoke honestly about the repair needed, didn’t try to upsell me, and was very respectful of my home. I also appreciated Goran’s patience when answering all of my questions and the helpful advice he gave about maintaining and replacing my air conditioning unit when the time comes.I would highly recommend Goran without any hesitation - he deserves a raise.

He came to service our space twice, the first time he caught the issues that were causing our AC to not function and the second time he was the one to come back and fix the issues that he found. After the nightmare of dealing with customer service the past year with Bowman and ready to call it quits we used them for a ac/furnace replacement. They had financing which was a huge plus. Thankfully the actual workers from the inspection guy, estimate guy and all of the installers have changed my mind and feelings about this company. The workers and people i dealt with face to face were extremely professional and answered all questions. The installers were very respectful of our home and were a pleasure to have in our home working. They said job would be about 7-8 hours and they were out before that and cleaned up and explained how everything worked. This company should praise their installers and workers that go into peoples homes because they are the only reason we chose to stay with Bowman after our experience dealing with the customer service end of things on a previous issue we had in our home. Will definitely use them again and recommend them moving forward only because of their work and the techs and installers.

I contacted HL Bowman as a referral from Home Depot for air conditioning in a home I am moving into. I received a date for a consultation within a week. Matthew Parlotto arrived on time and discussed his thoughts of going with a Ductless Hyper-Heat system. I was so impressed with what he said about the HL Bowman Company, I agreed to his price and within two hours we had made the deal and signed off to everything. I never thought it would be this easy. Matt also planned the installation within a week and told us what to expect and that he would personally stop in that day to make sure everything is done.Josh Perez came the day that was planned to begin the project, was on time and very informative. He walked us through the installation again and asked for our thoughts on the situation just to verify what we wanted. I highly recommend the company and both Josh and Matt.

We hired HL Bowman to reconnect our gas stove and refrigerator water line after a kitchen renovation. When I scheduled the appointment, I explained that another licensed plumber had already disconnected both appliances and installed a new gas shutoff valve. At that time, I was told only about the $70 service call fee. When the technician arrived, he spent about 15 minutes on the phone with his manager before telling us the total cost would be nearly $600 ($70 service call, $360 to reconnect the gas stove, and $170 to reconnect the refrigerator water line). At that point, we felt we had little practical choice but to proceed because we had already been without our stove and refrigerator and would have had to wait several more days to find another plumber. For comparison, the licensed plumber who disconnected both appliances and installed the new gas shutoff valve charged us $300 for that more involved work. He was unfortunately not available to reconnect it, which is why we called HL Bowman. That made the $600 charge for simply reconnecting the existing stove and refrigerator especially surprising.I want to be clear that the technician was professional, courteous, and completed the work properly. My concern is not with him, but with HL Bowman's pricing and disclosure practices. After the visit, I contacted customer service and asked them to review the invoice and consider a partial refund. Instead of addressing my concern, the only solution offered was a membership for future services, which I declined.I understand that companies can use flat-rate pricing. However, I believe customers should be told the full price before a technician is dispatched when the scope of the work has already been clearly explained. Had we known the total cost in advance, we could have made an informed decision before scheduling the appointment.Update: after I posted the review, HL Bowman called me and offered to split the bill, which I agreed to and was done. I added a star after that.

As someone who works in the automotive sales industry, I have learned to value the team that services a product as much as the product itself. Servicing can truly make or break a person's experience with a company, and HL Bowman has shown that they understand this well.I had an air conditioning system installed in my home a few weeks ago, which was done quickly and with precision. However, on the first night with the new system, I received an error code on my units. I contacted the service department the next morning and they sent out a technician right away to diagnose the issue. My technician, Jeff Negron, was determined to find the root cause of the issue and eventually even went so far as to reach out to the manufacturer on my behalf to recommend having my whole compressor warrantied. I am now sitting under the cool air of my new units, extremely satisfied.A company shows its quality not when everything goes right, but when something goes wrong. In this experience, HL Bowman has certainly shown me theirs. Malfunctioning products are inevitable, but the company went above and beyond to make it right, and that is what matters to me the most. I would not hesitate to recommend HL Bowman to anyone (especially if you are a Home Depot credit card holder).

Our AC broke in the middle of the summer in a heat wave late Wednesday evening around 9pm. Early Thursday morning a technician came out and easily diagnosed the issue but unfortunately it was a problem that required replacing our 25 year old central air with a new system. This company installed the wrong size air condensor because they did not properly evaluate our system, leaving us with no air conditioning during the hottest days early in the summer, even though we scheduled before the start of the hot season. They switched out the condenser, eventually after sending multiple techs out over the span of a couple of weeks, from a 4 ton to a 3 ton, and then refused to discount us the difference because "We already lost money on this sale." -Manuel, which was stated to my husband on two separate occasions. We will be contacting Home Depot and the better business bureau.

If I could give Eric and the crew 10 stars, I absolutely would. I had a mini-split installed in my finished but unheated/no ac attic to help balance out my 2 zone system. First, I have to say that all the steps this company takes are absolutely the way a business should be run, from providing photos of the service people before they arrive to them cleaning up so well that you would never know they were there. Eric was extremely professional and courteous. He answered all of my questions readily and took the time to investigate further some things I wanted to know. The installation looks wonderful and you can tell that he takes pride in his work. I would also like to compliment the whole crew that came today, James, Kearvens, Oneil and John. All professional and courteous and excellent workers. The outside unit and covering of the wires looks perfect and was well done. I will definitely use your company for any future plumbing, hvac needs.

Best In Class Service, truly. We could not be happier with the team that came out to replace our Air Conditioning units. As an Architect, I care deeply about detail and craftsmanship and the team at HL Bowman is exceptional throughout the process. George, the Sales lead is great to work with and gave us so much confidence from the start. Jonathan, the team lead for install, was extremely thorough, and deeply knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to improve a series of subpar conditions that were here before their arrival, along with an outstanding install and we are very pleased with the finished product. I cannot say enough about the quality of this team and every aspect of the process, including communication, care of our home, and quality of workmanship. This level of service and care is nearly impossible to find, especially in the Boston market and we will continue to recommend this team to anyone looking for quality service. Many thanks, George, Jonathan, and Michael!

This company follows through and make sure the customer is well taken care of and it’s beautiful to be able to get a real person to speak to after a few phone prompts. They’ve really proven themselves and go above and beyond and the company is approachable and fair if you have any issues.Yesterday’s repair was done by Justin Dooley and he was very patient with me as I asked many questions and he was trying to get his job done in a very hot attic. He stayed and made sure everything was in tiptop shape and was very respectful of our property. They deserve a much higher rating now than the one I originally gave based on my own misunderstanding.Communication is everything and they are open to it in a very respectful manner and always reach out to make sure the customer satisfied.A real breath of fresh air!

I originally called these guys over a weekend because our entire AC system died and it was in the mid 90s outside. They came out that day, diagnosed our problem immediately, emailed us pictures of the problems, and did not even charge for that trip. We purchased a new system from them and they installed it within 2 days. It works great.THEN, our water heater failed (it was old and struggling for years). Once again I called them and they came out right away and got a new system up and running.Their prices are not the lowest in town, but they're definitely worth it. With them, we know that things will get fixed properly and quickly the first time around. Every worker was professional, trustworthy, and knew what they were doing. The company even texts you beforehand with a photo and name of anyone coming out and has them call when they're on their way. We are now repeat satisfied customers and plan to continue to use HL Bowman. I rarely leave reviews lately unless a company is either really bad or really good - and this company is really, really good.

HL Bowman came out to look at my very old central AC unit. The tech mentioned that the refrigerant was banned and I should have a new system installed. I asked that a sales person come to my home to give me proposals. Airton Andrade came out and assessed my needs and showed me my options. I chose to have a 24,000 BTU Mini Split installed instead of the central air being replaced. The Mini Split would provide an additional heat source in the winter and provide AC in the warm months.Marcelo Barros was part of the team of men that came out to install the Mini. Marcelo was timely, professional, and did a great job!! Marcelo was one of the unit installers. He and Kyle did a great job installing the unit, it looks great inside and outside and cleaned up everything when they were finished. It's only been 24 hours and I love it so much!!Thank you Marcelo and the rest of the team.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service I received from Mike Farley at H L Bowman company.I had a very well-hidden water leak that could have easily led to much more extensive damage and expense. Mike took the time to carefully investigate the problem, identify the true source of the leak, and resolve it efficiently. By finding the core issue, he saved me a significant amount of money and a great deal of worry.I was also very impressed with the company's dispatchers. They were professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the process.I should probably mention that I'm not always the easiest customer to deal with—especially when I'm stressed about a serious leak in my home. Even so, Mike remained patient, polite, understanding, and professional from start to finish. He took the time to explain things clearly and made a stressful situation much easier to handle.Outstanding service is rare, and Mike truly delivered it. I would highly recommend him and H L Bowman to anyone looking for honest, knowledgeable, and reliable plumbing service.Thank you, Mike, for a job exceptionally well done!

We have a large multi-level 1896 house that previous owners installed central air into on first and second floors. But it never worked great. The air conditioner broke in the middle of the most recent heat wave and HL Bowman came to my rescue with fast response times, great service, knowledgeable employees and a great outcome. Goran in sales earned my trust with his friendly and respectful demeanor and patient and helpful explanations of what was wrong with my system. It was a total fail of the system—years past its stated life, deteriorated by our failure to replace the air filters. He answered all my questions, sometimes twice (and even put me on the phone with the sales manager Mike, who was great, to help answer a question about our other air conditioner in a different part of the house). Goran also pointed out several problems with the way the old system was installed that would be repaired with the new install. And they could do it the next day—July 3rd and they had 0% financing for 18 months. I was sold. I had already carefully read the online reviews ahead of time and was confident I was in good hands and I was right. Even when a difficult install at another location that had not been completed yet meant the install team who had volunteered to work on the July 3rd holiday for mine wouldn’t be available and we’d have to wait until Monday—-I got call after call from the install manager until they reached me to make sure I knew, with profuse apologies. Our install team arrived on time with three HLBowman trucks, introduced themselves and shook my hand (which repairmen don’t always do with a woman customer and I appreciate it). Cody. Alec and Alex got to work right away, explaining they would be there until about 3. When I had a question about the brand of equipment they were installing I called Goran who had given me his cell phone number the week before and got a call back right away (even though he was sick) By the end of the day we had a working air conditioner, cooling the multi-level house much better than the old system. They finished around 4:30 and Alec did a great job walking me through the new system, answering all my questions, explaining new safety features. And he also walked with me through the whole house testing all the vents to make sure each one worked. One did not and he said he’d have the company call me to send out another team to investigate and address that issue. At this point I truly trust the great work of the whole HL Bowman team and am confident that I will hear from them today to address the one vent problem and so I am writing the review now. I am glad to have selected this company and would recommend it to anyone.

I would highly recommend H.L. Bowman for any Heating/AC repairs. Our system stopped working on a Sunday and Bowman had a tech (Austin) come by the house to diagnose the problem. Upon his finding we decided to replace the 15 year old system with a new system. (The old system used discontinued refrigerant) That same day Matt stopped by the house to discuss options about replacement and financing, and by the next morning Glen Keiper and his son were on the schedule to come and replace the system. Glen and Shayne were very professional and did a phenomenal job installing the new system and thermostat. They went above and beyond the call of duty, going as far as noticing a very small propane leak coming from my tank and calling me at work to let me know. We couldn't be happier with the service we received from HL Bowman and will certainly give them every opportunity to do any work in the future.Scott.

We had two issues that Eric (Lasalle) was able to fix and complete. In attempting a DYI bathroom faucet replacement, we discovered that the old faucet had been bolted down and when attempting to turn off the water the shut off values were old and leaking. Eric was prompt in arriving during the scheduled time and was able to remove and replace the faucet. Likewise he was able to replace the old shutoff values with new ones. Exceptional Service, Transparency, and Expertise from Start to Finish!I recently had to replace my HVAC system after the motor burned out due to an undersized duct system. I contacted Home Depot for an evaluation, and their HVAC Advisor, Amauris, provided an outstanding consultation. He thoroughly inspected both the indoor and outdoor units, transparently explaining potential issues. When a technical question fell outside his immediate scope, he prioritize accuracy over guesswork and called Brad, the HVAC Manager at HL Bowman (Home Depot's installation partner). Brad clearly explained our ductwork limitations in simple, straightforward terms without trying to upsell unnecessary work. Amauris walked us through the entire contract with complete transparency, even placing his internal calls on speakerphone. To address our specific contract questions, he looped in Nord, the Retail Compliance Manager at HL Bowman, who professionally explained our payment options, warranties, and product details. Knowing our house was at 90° with no AC, Amauris went above and beyond—staying from 4:45 PM to 7:30 PM to finalize our paperwork and successfully expediting our installation for the very next day. The installation specialists, Greg and Chase, were phenomenal. Over a two-day, 17-hour installation process, they worked tirelessly and stayed late to hit their milestones. They were incredibly respectful, highly knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions professionally. After completing the install, they rigorously tested the system, recorded the metrics, and re-verified the contract details with us.The transparency, respect, and expertise demonstrated by Amauris, Brad, Nord, Greg, and Chase were unmatched. I am thrilled with the final outcome and highly recommend this team to anyone in need of HVAC services. Thank you all for a job well done!

I had a leaky pipe from the kitchen sink and then sent technician, Luke, out. He identified the problem and told me a supervisor would email a quote for the repairs later that day or the next morning. Two days later, I hadn’t heard anything so I called the offices to find out Luke was told when he was here the job was beyond HL Bowman’s area of expertise and they wouldn’t be able to help me. If you can’t call a plumber to fix a leaky pipe I’m not really sure who else to call. Luckily I found Robinson Plumbing, not only did they have prompt appointments but the technicians they sent out had the skill and ingenuity and took the time to get me back up and running that day! I haven’t had a problem since. With HL Bowman, all I got was dishonesty and lack of general knowledge about their own “skill”. Look elsewhere!

After the install, Christian explained how the system worked and answered all of our questions and maintenance and service. I highly recommend this company for their great customer service.

**Frank from HL Bowman came through for me once again. After my new shower turned out to be taller than expected, he returned to redo the pipe work so everything would line up correctly. He adjusted the plumbing cleanly and efficiently, explained what needed to change, and made sure the new setup was solid and up to code.Just like before, his workmanship was excellent. I highly recommend Frank — he’s consistently reliable, skilled, and easy to trust.---------------------------------------------Frank S. from HL Bowman did outstanding work at my home. He assessed the issue with a leaking pipe, explained exactly what was going on, and came out the very next day to take care of it. He cut out a small section of drywall to access the vertical stack on the first‑floor wall, removed the old 4” cast iron, and transitioned everything cleanly to 3” PVC. He ran the new sewer line below the joist and above the dropped drywall, installed a 3x2” PVC wye to pick up the vent, and tied the new 3” PVC back into the existing system. The workmanship was excellent, the layout was thoughtful, and he kept the area neat throughout the job. Frank took the time to explain each step and made sure everything was done the right way. I’m very impressed with the quality of his work and highly recommend him.

We recently had two complete furnace and AC systems installed by H.L. Bowman over back-to-back days on May 7th and 8th, 2026, and the entire experience was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The installation crews were punctual, professional, highly skilled, and incredibly respectful of our home throughout the entire process. Coordinating two separate system installations over consecutive days could have easily become stressful, but the team made everything seamless and organized. Their teamwork, workmanship, attention to detail, and pride in what they do were evident every step of the way.The technicians took the time to answer all of our questions, explain the operation of the new systems thoroughly, and ensured everything was working perfectly before leaving. The installation areas were left spotless, and the quality of the work exceeded our expectations. It’s rare today to find a company that combines technical expertise, professionalism, customer service, and genuine care the way H.L. Bowman does. We are extremely pleased with our new systems and would confidently recommend H.L. Bowman to anyone looking for top-tier HVAC installation and service.Thank you to the entire team for an exceptional experience!

If you want an AI company whose phone number gets flagged and sent to voicemail, this is the place! Their technician decided that since we missed that call it meant we wanted to cancel the appointment entirely - despite us calling their AI line just a few minutes after receiving the voicemail. Ridiculous.

What a great company! It can be a challenge to get a company to come up our way (Jim Thorpe/Summit Hill) and then when they do they can be hit or miss. Not so with HL Bowman. We had a same day service manager visit. The quote for the work was VERY reasonable and the tech was out the next morning and stayed to finish the job. They also ran into some issues with the planned work they quoted and it ended up taking longer than they thought but they did not alter the invoice. Can't say enough about how impressed we are! We will hyping them up in our area and will be using them for all our plumbing needs going forward!

The estimator that came to my house came off as disrespectful. He snapped pictures of my electrical panel, which is normal, but sent them to his friend. He was laughing at his response in front of me. The estimator self censored some of the words which I am guessing were inappropriate.I have done a load calculation and determined there is nothing wrong with my panel. All of neighbor's with mini splits have the same panel configuration I do.The estimator states he can do my panel upgrade for $6k when I know several electricians that can do it for $1k or $2k.I was told my total cost would be $22k + $6k for a panel upgrade that's not needed. $28k for mini splits in a 1306sqft house. I asked for an itemized BOM but said he can't show it to me. As the estimator was leaving, he said I could finance this of all things....Very bad experience and I don't think I could ever recommend HL Bowman. From the estimator's own words "HVAC is a failed industry." I don't know why he needed to tell me that. Very uncomfortable experience.

Scott Klahr and his assistant did an excellent job installing our new HVAC system. The project took almost two days. They were meticulous with every step, and left our home/basement very clean. Scott thoroughly reviewed the work performed and gave us step-by-step instructions regarding the operation of the new system. The need for a new HVAC replacement was a big surprise to us, but the financial hit was softened by the way we were treated and knowing that we are in good hands going forward with our service plan. Also, kudos to Chad recommending the system went decided upon.

Been a few years since last serviced furnace, as winters last (hopefully last) below freezing temps recently have us switching back to heat after days of open windows, my furnace not willing to fire up - dagnabit! I've heard some good reviews about HL Bowman services, was time to give them a shot.Jason Johnson showed up, I gave him a rundown of where I was knowing very little of his expertise & let him go to work. Checked in on his professional character a few times which last had the sound of a fired up furnace. Verbal explanation of repairs followed by a digital estimate & transaction invoice easily had me signing a service contract & from what I hear, another satisfied customer!Thank you Bowman & Jason,Sincerely,Mike Fischer

We had a very positive experience with everyone involved in our heat pump installation from the initial visit through completion. We were able to schedule an appointment that was convient for us. We knew what we wanted done and had researched the average cost. Nathan measured our house and determined what size unit we needed. It ended up that the unit we had was too small. After giving us an explanation of the systems, we chose what we wanted. He didn't pressure us or try to talk us into extras, although we went with the best system. What made it even better was our ability to qualify for a senior citizen discount and a special, that made a significant difference in the price. We already had our money set aside for the project and were ready for installation. They were able to schedule us for the next day. Christian and the team were here right on time. I expected professionalism, courtesy, and care of our property, and clean up, and we weren't disappointed. The work was completed to our satisfaction by the afternoon. There were 2 things that I really appreciated. One was the quietness of their work and conversation....no banging, radios, or yelling to each other. I had gotten in from out of state and to bed at 3am. They weren't aware, but I had gotten up and moved to another room to go try to sleep. I was able to fall asleep with them going in and out and working right above me. Also Christian and his team did a great job of going over everything with me, and he was the only person who gave me an answer as to why our bedrooms don't heat and cool as well as the rest of the house. They are all above a non heated/ non cooled garage. We're thinking about putting more insulation on the garage ceiling to see if it helps. Our electric bills have been climbing and we're looking forward to a new and more efficient system hopefully lowering them.Thank you. Great job.

Our heater/air conditioning unit completely broke, and with the cold nights still here, we were honestly a little frantic! We called HL Bowman, and Justin Heist was able to come out right away. He was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to walk us through our options, which immediately put us at ease. The next day, we called around to compare prices, and HL Bowman came in with the best value. Nate Kudla then came out to explain everything in terms that were easy for me to understand (especially since I have no background in this area). He was thorough, honest, and extremely helpful. After meeting with Nate, we knew right away that HL Bowman was the right company for us. Their service, warranty, and overall professionalism truly reflect a company that is committed to fair pricing and taking care of their customers.Estefano Fernandez and Jason Moffitt handled the installation of our new system, and they were fantastic! They were professional, respectful of our home, and made sure everything was clean when they finished. They also took the time to clearly explain the system to my husband and answer any questions we had. From start to finish, our experience with HL Bowman was outstanding. HL Bowman replaced my heat pump system a few months ago and I called them out most recently to replace my hose bib that had burst (before even buying my house!) from frozen pipes over a winter some time ago that I just now got around to dealing with now that I am starting a garden. Everyone from HL bowman that has come out either to give me a quote or to perform work on something has been nothing but kind and professional. They make recommendations based on what they’re seeing to help you get the results you want without being pushy and have always been honest about the work I need vs what I don’t. I love using them and I haven’t had any reason to call someone else because their work speaks for itself and they stand by their work with their warranties! Austin my technician did a great job doing the work he stated. The only issue I have is when he said the coils in my outside unit were dirty and needed cleaning, I assumed when I okayed the work, it was some kind of complex coil cleaning… not simply something my 10 year old son could have done using the garden hose. Could have saved myself $350…. Lesson learned.

Don’t recommend and will be in contact with better business bureau. First guy that came wasn’t on time with our 12pm-4pm appt didn’t show till 6pm and when he got here he came with broken equipment to even do the job but charged us $650. Next day another came he claimed we had a soft clog which we knew already and then claimed our pipes were broken and the price they gave us for clearing the soft clog and and fixing the so called broken pipe was $10,400 which is absolutely insane not to mention they gave us two other quotes of $22,000 and 32,000. We went out and dug up the pipes ourselves and there is definitely no broken pipe like they claimed talk about a company that’s money hungry and full of lies.

The tech that was sent was not the tech that was originally assigned to the repair so he had to base the repair of pictures and a phone call. He was extremely helpful and polite and explained everything he was doing. He was very adamant about keeping our home clean. He was only an HVAC tech and not a plumber so he couldn't replace my kitchen faucet as planned. We felt bad for the poor communication he received internally because he was told the wrong diameter copper pipe to buy and had to run for more. Again, tech was great and did excellent work quickly. I don't like to blame waiters if the cook screws up steak and this is like that where he did everything he could to fully complete the job. Two pipes that were re-routed together in a loop left the cut off ends still attached to the side of the boiler where they were cut off rather than removing and capping them also.

They canceled my appointment the day before and it was scheduled over a month out I called and an artificial intelligence person answers the phone cant get the correct spelling of my name when I asked for a real person it transferred me and Noone answered the phone so it shifted me to a machine and asked to leave a message or wait for the next available representative in which Noone answered and then kept looping me back and forth to the machine and same message still Noone answered 🤣Also last year they put in a new computer system and weren't taking out my monthly contract fee and then all at once deducted a large amount from my bank account all at once without any notification which after seeing it I canceled my yearly contract they told me nothing just went into my bank account and took what they want. Its all wrong.

Bob Seeger, who used to be with my HVAC provider, was called by me for a problem, although I didn't know he had changed jobs. He spent 40 minutes of his own time tonight trying to diagnose the problem, and offered to contact his old employer to help describe the problem. This is so far above and beyond customer care that I am almost speechless. I will happily recommend his new company-- Bowman --because they have an employee like Bob, who helped me just out of kindness.

Very impressed with this company. Rachel, the technician who first inspected my hvac, was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. Nathan, who came to speak to me about replacement options was relatable and didn’t try to oversell me something I didn’t need. Andy and Estefano removed the old unit and installed the new unit in about 6 hours and left my home in pristine condition. They were prompt, friendly and efficient. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Outstanding experience with Glen. We recently had to replace our heating and air unit. When Glen came out to our home and he was friendly, professional, explained everything in a way we could understand, and really knew what he was doing. The install was smooth, tidy, and surprisingly quicker than I thought! Our new system is working great, and we couldn’t be happier. If you need HVAC work done, reach out to Glen at HL Bowman — highly recommend!

Kudos to Chris Colasuonno. He didn't just come and fix the problem. (We had no functional lights inside the refrigerator.) He set us up to order the part and install it ourselves. It was a teaching and learning experience. In this case, that was the most appropriate response. We will certainly call on him and Bowman again.

Paul came to rescue us on the first hot summer day when my geothermal air conditioning system broke down. It’s his first time coming to our house. He had to walk up and down numerous times between 3 floors to identified the issues and provided solution to us. I also really appreciate that he drove an hour to us even though he had a doctor’s appointment earlier. Counting my blessings to have him providing services to us.

Ignacio Ruiz was extremely friendly and helpful! I appreciated that Ignacio called and provided an ETA when he was on his way and then I received another call from him upon his arrival. He thoroughly explained what the issues were with both my dryer and upper oven and how H L Bowman would break out the pricing for the servicing of each separately and combined plus H L Bowman's MVP package. Ignacio also provided an estimate on the turnaround time for obtaining the necessary parts. When Ignacia returned with the parts, he quickly got to work and tested each of the appliances and ensured that I was happy with the results. A job well done!

This is for the "free" appointment we had scheduled today. We were told 8AM-12PM and there was no call or show.... I completely understand that things happen and it takes longer than expected but you must let people know! I had to call in at 12 to see what happened. Then no call or show 2 hours later at 2 pm. There goes 6 hours waiting for the plumber.Meanwhile, I see another plumber next door and have them come into my home for free and give me a quote. I called again to Bowman and asked a lady if they were coming and received the same answer (it's now 2 PM) and they had no idea when they would show up. The quote is not free unless you go with them and who knows when they will show up! I wasted a whole day waiting and now I have to wait another day because I don't think you should have my business. No apology from the second lady, she just got annoyed when I asked questions to see why they mentioned the quote was free. I'm allowed to ask questions.... From your other comments, I see some people had the same problem. It looks like there just needs to be some communication. I assume you do not need the business if you do not call. If you are too busy you can tell people you cannot do it and save them some time.
