Reviews
The team that came out to do the work (Jesse Palmer, Cameron Whitmyer & Tyler Atkins) came out timely and were professional. They reviewed the job and completed the work timely and cleaned up afterwards.
I would recommend HL Bowman to anyone that needs work done.”

Thank you, Brett”
“Brandon, the service technican was on time and knowlegdable about the A/C unit we have. He checked the unit pressures, air flow, cooling and total operation of the HVAC. He has serviced our system before and we appreciate Brandon's thouroughness which helps prevent problems, thanks.”
“The technicians were very professional and respectful of our property inside and outside. There was no mess to clean up after they left. My dog enjoyed the extra attention he received while they were working. I am very happy with the product and feel it's benefits will out way the cost. They are well worth it. No more AC units in the windows, making my house more secure during the hot months.”
“I live in Walnutport, PA and unfortunately it's not available from the drop down menu.

If higher than a five-star rating would be made available, you are most deserving. Your professionalism, knowledge of works at hand, and courtesy goes unnoticed. HL Bowman Inc. must certainly realize the valued employee you are and we will definitely look upon you for future services if needed. Thank you for the dedication and I hope this review seeks your attention!

“On March 30 2026 I had my 40 gallon gas hot water heater ($3,525.33) replaced along with the pressure reducing valve ($765.38) for a total of $4,290.71. In addition to a Promo Membership that I am not disputing ($12.00). I signed the electronic customer authorization not realizing the charges were extraordinary high until I saw them on my March 2026 Visa statement.
After the fact, I realized the invoice was not in line with the competition. I called HL Bowman’s Co. at (717) 561-1206 and asked for a breakdown of the invoice charges. During my first call, I spoke to manager who would not provide the information I was looking for. He informed me the Vice President would call me. He too refused to give me a breakdown of the invoice charges. He informed me that I signed an electronic statement from the installation tech that I agreed to a flat fee of $4,290.71, which I would never have agreed to. This electronic invoice did not show a breakdown of the charges, nor did I receive a copy of the invoice until I called the secretary, 4/30/2026 and asked for it. During that time, I was under duress due to my not being able to attend work, and my mother being very ill in a nursing home.
I am willing to pay HL Bowman Co. for their work, if they can provide a reasonable invoice amount and breakdown of charges including parts, labor, etc. Otherwise, I will pursue a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, consult with an attorney, and write a bad review on Bowman’s web site.”
“It's been awhile since I had a new air conditioner put in but I need to write a review because I'm not happy. Last year we had a tech come out July or June 17th and check my unit because it wasn't keeping up like it used to. He did an inspection said it was probably leaking cuz it was freezing over and he said to do a leak test will cost me $500. I thought that's a lot but what about the parts he said well that's even if we can get the parts and I know their ad said they could fix an old air conditioner. So they had a salesman come out on the 18th of June 2025 and the salesman didn't even go up in the attic to inspect the unit. He went by what the tech told him gave us a price and you know it's like I don't want to fix the old unit and pay $500 just to have it test and can't get to work. So we decided to get a new one. The new unit was put in. Since then they have been out six times to do repairs to find out that the installers used some of the old parts from my old air conditioner and they weren't working to what the new unit needed to be. I am not happy because after they were done at the install, the installers came down from the Attic and told me that I need $7,000 more work to make this unit efficient. I know when we talk to the salesman my wife and I specifically asked him. Does that cover everything to the black twos? He said yes that salesman told the company that he did not say that and then to find out at that salesman is no longer there. Whatever you do get a second opinion. Not the fact that I still need to have $7,000 worked on it. Not happy”
