He prepared the area to avoid unnecessary mess. After the job was complete, he advised us which foods to avoid putting down the disposal in order the minimize the possibility of future clogs. He clearly took pride in his ability to help the homeowner maintain their kitchen plumbing.

“I am a long time customer of H.L. Bowman and have always been pleased with the exceptional customer service and professionalism of the work performed. This past weekend the main sewer line at my home was backed up. On Sunday, Abel Alvarez responded to the service call. He was professional, respectful, and thorough in his work. He not only cleared the blockage but explained to me in detail the cause of the issue I was having. He recommended a permanent fix to replace the line and referred a quality assurance rep to visit later in the day. He investigated the situation and confirmed Abel's assessment and provided a quote for the full replacement of the sewer line under the concrete slab in the basement, continuing to a liner out to the septic tank. I also elected to have them replace the old above ceiling drain piping with new PVC. A crew was available the following day and I decided to move forward. On Monday a crew from Drain Magic arrived, led by AJ. AJ and the team were professional and courteous. There were a few minor bumps along the way, but AJ maintained a positive attitude. He estimated the work to take 8-hours and it was completed just under the time frame that he anticipated. The team did a fantastic job on the replacement. The work is excellent! They also cleaned up the work area very nicely!

“Phil came out to my house today to replace my hot water heater and install a water softening system. He did a great job! He installed new copper piping to the heater so that the old pipes were updated and then added the softening system so that the water coming into the house wasn’t so hard on our pipes. He also replaced a faucet in the kitchen because of leaking there. Phil did a great job, 10 out of 10 would recommend!”
